  • what kind of tires did the evo have in the enduro race??

  • Wow are the producers at Best Motoring nerdy! And wow, do I like it!

  • why!!! WHY DID MAZDA STOP THE PRODUCTION OF RX7! DARN IT! RX8 is very lack of power!

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again, the RENESIS is a failure.

  • hilarious how they all had to have a smoke in between heats lol

  • i wanna know why how come the toyota supra is never up in any of these races?

  • @sxcelite12 Shittest handling

  • @sxcelite12 Because the supera is a 80s and 90s car. They test more recent cars I guess.

  • @sxcelite12 Supra aint that great stock... but you can get MUCH out of it...

  • Gan-san is amazing

  • Putting 10w-30 oil in NSX at those conditions was very, very stupid decision..

  • @SorsanSuuriAfro It's a production car challenge, not a TUNED car challenge, that's why they have to try to keep everything stock.

  • BMW M3 CSL makes an great noise

  • I thought the way you say Tsukba was SOOBA?

  • @5FatMonkeys It's tsukuba. three syllables. su-ku-ba.

  • the rx-8 chassis is crap compared to the FD

  • what vol. is it?

  • What's with the new double-ads YouTube? - you fuckers.

  • 25:20 That day came when the GTR was revealed. Transmission problems aside for the new models now.. the GTR is a masterpiece.

  • LOL 29:52

  • wikid awesome

  • Is supercharged M3 still NA?? why they keep saying its NA??

  • @molythro because it is NA.. The M3 CSL wasn't supercharged..

  • lol gan san got mad when they waved the blue flag at him.

  • the 09+ RX8's have a much bigger front grill opening even with license plate on there are still room for air to get in.

  • you can see the rx8's license plate was completely blocking the radiator opening.

the EVO had no different at all cuz it was not blocking the radiator at all.

  • This just shows how amazingly balanced the S2000 is, and how lightness affects the results !!

  • the bmw's driver was idiot noob

  • rx-8 are affordable easy now... concidering the price of a dc5 you can easily afford to upgrade the rx-8 to keep up.

  • This video remindes me on Gran Turismo 4. Its looks like im watching my replay.

    Very good video 5*

  • 30 degrees, try 50 lol my SR20DE can handle that with 246,000 on the clock

  • GTchannel m.sn in profile

  • wow.. it's been 40 mins already?

  • Damn Evo IV, VI TME, and VII retired :(

  • at 21:36 you can CLEARLY see that the tire on the s2k is a right sided tire that has been mismounted on the left side. it's not that the tire is mis mounted on the rim, it's just that it's on the wrong side of the car. it doesn't make that much of a difference on dry tarmac but the water evacuating grooves would channel water TOWARD the center of the tire instead of outward.

  • you guys are crazy awesome! i love this video! subscribed!!!

  • evos ftw! you would expect the sti and evo to do worst because of turbos overworking the little 2.0 liter but it did exactly the opposite. gg.

  • I can't say that I agree with their recommended temperature limits. Different cars are designed to have different limits. For example; the only reason the NSX had to back off is because of this somewhat arbitrary limit imposed on it. It didn't have to back off because of performance issues; the drivers never said it was performing worse. They really shouldn't have forced the drivers to slow down because of high temps.

  • @TheJoePepper i think the heat issue with the nsx is mostly do to middle engine layout where cooling isn't the most efficient compared to the rest of the cars where the engines in the front.

  • @Xn4W Yes that makes sense. My point was that I think that engine can easily handle a few more degrees and still run just fine. The only reason they had to slow down is because of that preset limit, not because of loss of performance. A engine that is truly getting too warm will suffer performance loss.

  • When they show the S2000's great tires and turning the wheel, you can see it is mounted on the rim improperly. It probably doesn't matter on a dry surface though...

  • sexy and Asian women Meet #lushfmlk.info#

  • WHere are the previous video links? Cheers guys.

  • Great Test-Why is the majority of failures from the Evo?

  • Superb video, although in the second hat the on-screen txt gets the S2K and Integra muddled. Really interesting to see how the cars perform in true race conditions - everyone normally just puts emphasis on 0-60, BHP or a 1 lap time. This kind of test is so much more useful. Proud of my S2000 too : )

  • shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit who cares if ralph lauren???

  • Interesting how the turbos did so well. I wonder how the s2000 would fare with FI.

Is there any way you could mod the NA cars so they would run cooler? Seems like the rx-8 would explode under FI, which is a shame because the chassis is so good it deserves some more power

  • BMI is so biased... in this video the NSX can barely keep up with the Evo/Sti/m3 but in the other videos it could keep up with the NEW GTR and Lambos... doesnt make sense at all

  • @YauhanSayaovong

Have you been watching video at all?! The NSX-R temps were so high it had to slow down and limit revs. This is a great test - it proves it's not all about stats (which internet drivers hang so much on) - a quick laptime is pointless if you can only do one. Ricers and tuners need to watch this vid

  • mitsu evo 4ever!!

  • the driver in the m3 should have pushed because with bmw engines the warmer the better ive done 30 mins straight in my m3 with some mods

    even the impreza was overheating

  • the driver in the m3 should have pushed because with bmw engines the warmer the better ive done 30 mins straight in my m3 with some mods

  • In a wider track like Fuji or Sugo, M3 would have won all the way but they had to use the stupid enlarged karting track called Tsukuba

  • why no supra? ever??

  • The best 6 days for Enduro

  • how can the oil be so hot on the M3 CSL. that car is made for "The Ring"

  • @UPS1135 lapping in the ring it's just about 7-8 minutes a lap and i think it's much colder in Germany

  • This was great to watch. Thank you! s2k ftw!

  • i love this show....i wish they would do this in america...exact same setup...but i konw they wont, maybe were to lazy....you can only see a car blast down a straight so many times..BY ITSELF.....

  • this is brilliant, I like best motoring :) !

  • Wonder why they didn't use 10w60 oil on the M3...

  • In reality the bmw would take it any day, its n/a and built to last, problem is m3s are not made for tight twisty tracks like tsukuba, but take any of these cars to the nurburgring or catalunya and they

wouldnt stand a chance against m3!

  • @dilawer321 hahaha :)) fast track vs. curby, cmon :)

  • tsukuba is not that curvy just very tight and off camber, check laptimes on silverstone by autocar magazine m3 csl is much much faster than evo and impreza etc, or check laptimes by EVO Magazine at tracks like donington park or nurburgring, m3 csl is one of the fastest cars ever made, this track suites 4wd and turbo, but 99% of tracks m3 will be faster

  • you are in right but this is this sort of condition and track is like that, Nrb is for top car with high top speed and this is just not track for M3,my apology. Do you see GT-R on Tsukuba vs. top sport car then on Fuji. Japan's car is more technical and durable, you must confess that .Biggest problem influence of top speed model is regulation about hp of engine in Japan and top speed, but they have pretty awesome cars and with out that and this is all stock models, stock oil, pads and break oil

  • .like someone say "every time when I pass buy Honda I make bow and say ' good day sir Soichiro' ", and I do that.Honda is just brilliant car and I never gonna change for other car.

  • On japanese roads a japanese car will be fast, on european roads a european car will be best, becuase it is designed for these roads, and on american roads an american car will be best, it just depends what you prefer, and on nurburgring is not a track made for powerful cars only, infact low power cars have very fast times there, like caterham and lotus exige, these cars have only around 250bhp. I agree jap cars are good on corners, but euro cars are much better all rounders, but i like all cars

  • Cmon man for car is import hp vs. weight and that 2 car rock in that category , be real ... think that Atom is better enjoy :)

  • That is why you dont race a car with McPherson Struts. That is why F1 cars use the double wishbone setup.

  • ncie video, but it was so annoying him pretending to talk to the drvers

  • WOW! those guys are crazy, they turned the HEATER on during the second run!?

The next iteration of the RX-8 needs a new motor... not being able to keep up with the integra and s2000 is shameful.

  • @sp33dybaron man is for pump out heat from water which is coolant circle but oil is heating also and who don't have solution for cooling oil is gon'a to crack engine :)))

  • no, just bigger coolers :)

  • the nsx n bmw are over 3 l while others r 2l turbos can some body explain

  • @sp33dybaron They have to turn the heater on to cool down the engines when it heats up... But, yeah it's crazy, cause if it was me driving with Racing suits, and witha heater on at 100 degrees, I'll pass out..

  • @sp33dybaron why? The RX-8 is in a different car category than the other two. Add the fact that the S2000 has the same power level with much less weight, and the Integra R has nearly the same power with FAR less weight. They are all 3 totally different cars, a real buyer is not going to be cross shopping between them.

The RX-8 motor is perfectly fine.

    Kei

  • @Kamukix absolutely, loosing to both those cars is totally expected. People are too "linear" in there perspectives of fast.

  • @ltlocus agreed, most of the people commenting have never driven/owned any of these cars (or they'd know better by now). They've never been on any racing circuit, don't understand speed in general, and of course have NO IDEA how to read a spec sheet. That alone would show you that there is absolutely no way for the RX-8 to win against these two cars. Oh well, maybe one day they'll get offline and go find out truth for themselves.

    Kei

  • @sp33dybaron yeah, turning the heater on will allow the hot air to evacuate the engine compartment, effectively cooling the engine. Although yeah the driver will get roasted lol

  • @sp33dybaron why is it shameful? the s2000 is lighter and has more power....

  • @sp33dybaron heater generate hot air by blowing thru exhaust manifold

turn on heater may help to cool down engine temp

  • @sp33dybaron that because RX-8's are shit and Honda make better engines..

  • @sp33dybaron turning on the heat keeps the oil temp down

  • @sp33dybaron Heater on is helping to cool down the engine

  • @sp33dybaron Well, RX-8's were always a let down in stock form. They need to bring back the RX-7 with an updated rotary engine. And S2000's and Integra's are awesome track cars.

  • @sp33dybaron heater = lowers car temp...

  • great test, hope bmi does another in couple years. The s2k tires were amazing! didn't look worn at all, and the the evo killed it too. =]

  • wow N/A cars dont do so good !

and turbos not as bad !

  • At 25:19. Its The GTR.

  • 90 F is not that hot, it gets like this every summer here in Oregon.

  • Looks like Ara is riding the clutch a little

  • i saw a best motoring vid with convertibles and the s2k and a couple others ran faster laps with the top down

  • if those guys driving the s2k did it with the top down then they can run the heater at full blast while having a cool cabin

  • ... but it will increase the car´s drag...

  • this is not a high speed track anyways so wind resistance is not as important, it will probably be faster if they can shift at redline every time so the engine will still be in high cam in the next gear every time they shift

  • this increase in drag will not in any case keep engine better cooled allowing him to shift later, just will make cabin temperature much cooler

  • who said anything about increasing drag will affect cooling.........just that with the top down the driver can hav the heat at full blast while having a cool cabin..............i dont get whats so hard to understand......

  • lower drag makes you go faster thats all...

  • omg.. 48 Celsius!!! thats fucking hot, that guys are well prepared to take on this temperature

  • Holy crap, I already start to feel bad at around 45° doing nothing, and they were racing in excess of 60, some even over 70. Crazy.

  • @kmi187 now imagine the soldiers in afghanistan who have to walk in full gear carrying maybe 50lbs in the sun, at around 40 degrees.. unbelievable

  • what a great test

  • I was waiting for something like this! NSX-R always over heat by the 5th lap let's see how BM cope with it :P
