This is the danger of allowing two political parties to control the entire American political processes. For these two parties are controlled by the most influential entities on earth, and are subservient to these entities, and not to the people they are supposed to represent. They're already on record as believing that the People have too much freedom, and would rather abrogate our Rights in support of a totalitarian state. Fat chance! I won't have it.
Anyone who wants to know what a national Constitutional Convention is needs to read Article 5 (not Amendment 5) of the US Constitution. It's all right there. Don't let anyone tell you what it is, READ it for yourselves.
To lift the confusion a little, the Subjects of State con-cons and a NCC should not be confused.
There are some links in the Sidebar which concern con-cons that are scheduled periodically to revise State Constitutions, which is not what we are concerned with.

It's going to happen Ma'am and there is nothing we can do about it? Meaning if everyone made a peaceful protest all at once that would be against the law now, not saying is was once legal in the recent past or treated that way. If we/anyone got mad and started to rebel, that is what they want.
