2002 -2005 were terrible for BYU fans. Thank goodness things have picked up from. Can't wait to see Boise State, Notre Dame and Georgia Tech next season.

I love both of these teams. It's a good thing because you know one of the teams you like is going to win. They are good teams and fun to watch. I dont see how people can like one and not the other.

What I can't get over is the fact that your receiving runner is smashed not once but twice by the punter! Even though we lost that game its just sad that could happen, not to mention how many sacks did we get that game!?! BSU was lucky to win that game! But BYU demoralized BSU anyway!

@geoff1424 Considering BYU was 5-6 and played 3 regular season undefeated teams that year, this WAS a highlight game. BYU came into the smurf turf and was a shanked FG away from beating the Broncos were almost no one beats them. This was also when many players on the team started to show their playmaking ability.

I was just giving the facts. Why do I need an excuse? Boise went undefeated in regular season, and 2004 BYU I think was a much better team than its record shows. Not all schedules are created equal. A normally #13 team could play teams ranked #1-#12 and go 0-12. Their actual ranking would be like #120, just because they had a ridiculous schedule. BYU had 3 practically unwinnable games in 04, and came very close to winning one.

@Gamebox27 The fact that BYU had so many awesome plays in this game is reason for a highlight video alone. The final score shouldn't count in a highlight video. Of course BSU was a very good team and made 1-2 more good plays. That shouldn't erase BYU's plays from remembrance.

Hmmm... Funny how you highlight two games that BYU lost. I wouldn't do that if I was a Cougar fan... I would focus more on the 30 wins in the last 3 years than the miserable seasons BYU had in the earlier half of this decade...

yeah there weren't many highlights that year for BYU.. one of the worst, if not THE worst BYU team in 30 years.

Thanks to BSU for being overrated enough to allow for BYU to have some highlights to show that year.

BYU's defense should have played like that in 2008. Sure they had 42 dropped on them by USC, and 52 by Utah (probably the two best offenses this decade), but other than that it was a pretty dominant unit. The 37 points given up @ Stanford was all turnovers, short fields, and kick returns.
