Whats with the hate on bf3? Just because it plays differently than bad company 2 doesn't mean that it's shit. In it's core, it still plays like the battlefield series and reminds me of the best bf game that is bf2.
@TheSUBGAMER bfbc2 is probably the best shooting experience you will EVER get. in my opinion, 10x better than bf3. the m24 is amazing if yu know how to use it and you should definetly get this game for pc. on amazon its $15 for a digital 6gb download, so it doesnt take long to get at all and yu dont have to go to the store to buy it. you should get this game

As I read (not 100% sure it's true so don't quote me) the T88 LMG & the Flechette ammo are Physical Warfare Pack exclusives, while the DAO-12 and SKS suppressor can be unlocked for everyone once they reach the appropriate level.
Ya i cancelled my preorder from gamestop and prerdered from Best Buy when i found out everyone gets the Physical Warfare Pack for free so might as well get the SK for free aswell. so its a waste to preorder from gamestop.

If you don't know, flechette rounds are very light weight shotgun rounds that shoot little arrows into the enemy.
Troops on Vietnam sometimes brought some from home but they preformed poorly and did not do much damage or travel at effective range due there light weight.
just to let you know so far in the alpha its totally not op, the bipod does reduce recoil, but not enough to make it game breaking, even with the bipod it still has a shit load of recoil if you spray, also the bipod makes you pretty vulnerable. Just from my experience in the alpha
but in the while since i posted that comment i thought about old battlefield games and how dice knows how to make them perfectly balanced so i am no longer worried
BC2 i like BF3 but the building destruction is kinda lame. Usually if you shoot a granade into a wall it makes a hole, but in bc2 it destroyes the fucking whole wall. And now the bf3 comes in. DICE finally made new game engine to fix this unreal stuff. Like the video

I think it started as only pre-orders have that pack included, and it won't be available for retail at all. Now they've changed it to be available to everyone after 1 month I think. It's a good move, listening to the public opinion. I doubt the pack is going to make a big difference: EA/DICE won't be dumb enough no make something overpowered into pre-order exclusive in the first place. Now at least there's nothing to gripe about.

I love luguna presa, (or how ever you spell it.) The maps I hate are Oasis, and Harvest Day for the first section in rush. Also I forgot the name, but the one that is straight from the beginning to the end, and is in the desert. It has the big ship in it. But Oasis is really the only one a hate.

I usually find enemies more often by the sound alone then by muzzle flash. If someone shoots in my general direction, I can tell where s/he sits and sometimes what weapon is used. I don't think the flash suppressor will be as critical as people say.

now this is just what i have been worried about when i hear about what is in the support class..
think about it
a bipode that make your gun almost recoilless and extremely accurate.
you now have unlimited ammo with a gun that already has 100+ bullets per clip.
and they even get points for spamming bullets at people behind cover
but i am sure dice will make it as balanced as possible

I don't see anything wrong with pre-order bonus's...in fact I like it when companies give them. I mean, if you pre-order BF3 you get: 3 new maps, some guns AND the entire Battlefield 1943 game...how sweet is that?
As for the "weapons giving you insane abilities and an overwhelming advantage"...thats bullshit. The only gun that I thought was remotely overpowered in BFBC2 was the XM8 Prototype....and then they dumbed it down so people would stop complaining.

@TrippyTheShroom are u kidding me, i once got 60kills 12 deaths before they fixed the m60 it was ripping people to shreds. A lot of good players stopped using it because it was too easy to get kills and was very nooby before the fix.

@NUstonerFC The M60 was another weapon that was insanely overpowered...i didnt mention it because i didnt have the space to lol. Ya, I believe I once got like 65k and 4deaths with it once...then they did that update on the weapons a few months ago and made it a piece of shit...i mean, seriously...go to the very first weapon on the Engineer class and compare its stats to all the Medic weapons and Assualt weapons...TECHNICALLY that gun is the strongest automatic gun in the game...which is retarded

I quite enjoy the process of ranking up, if youre half decent it doesnt take long. but the 3new maps would be good and I'm sure the die-hard fans would take advantage. either way it will cost you money so why not pre-order.

@TrippyTheShroom yeah but they can just put the extra pre-order stuff in the game. The only reason they don't is because the shops make those deals so that they get most of the sales on release. They are not really giving you something extra, they just make it look like they do but in fact they are just butfucking the money out of you =/
Most of the time they just take something out of the game and present it as a pre-order bonus.

@TrippyTheShroom The problem is that you are not getting "new" content, just content that they stripped out of the game in order to charge you later. That is bulltshit. Day on DLC is bulltshit. Well, maybe you don't want a complete game when you buy, but instead a 80% complete shell that you'll need to fill with DLC.

Seriously, other games like brink, medal of honor, and killzone offered exclusive guns for pre-orders. I know these games aren't as big as battlefield, but the exclusive guns introduced were not unbalanced or overpowered, their contribution to gameplay was significantly minimal. Idk why people are bitching, dice wouldn't be dumb enough to give people so much of an advantage that the game was unfair. everyone needs to just chill.

I love luguna presa, (or how ever you spell it.) The maps I hate are Oasis, and Harvest Day for the first section in rush. Also I forgot the name, but the one that is straight from the beginning to the end, and is in the desert. It has the big ship in it. But Oasis is really the only one a hate.

This isnt about what these weapons were how OP or lack there of, or even if anyone would have used them. Its about the future of gaming when we let them do this kind of crap now with cheesy little weapons whats going to happen when BF4 comes out and these are weapons that WILL change the game.
Complain all you want but if it was an over powered weapon that would last the first few months everyone would be complaining. Except it would be to late to do anything.

I usually find enemies more often by the sound alone then by muzzle flash. If someone shoots in my general direction, I can tell where s/he sits and sometimes what weapon is used. I don't think the flash suppressor will be as critical as people say.
