He is considered to be the best Rossini`s Figaro nowadays. I was honored to sing in Un ballo in maschera by his side (he was singing Renato, me Samuel). Great singer and great guy!
casualmente no escucho mucha opera, y me llamo la atencion este tipo con ese raro sombrero, y me detuve a observar y oir. Este tipo es de otro nivel muy bueno, mostrando la alegria que la musica tiene entregar, alegrando el espiritu de quien olle semejante interpretacion, palbras me faltarian para poder describir todo el mundo y sensaciones que causo en mi y parte de mi familia,( tios, primos hermanos y ahuelos).

i like this performance. there'll be people who say there are better performances, this is my opinion too. in my opinion the best above all other performances is the one of thomas hampson at the met from 1991

I just saw him at the Opera de Paris yesterday. He was impressive, far better that what is shown on this low quality video.
As BassoNero said, he is considered the best Rossini's Figaro nowadays. Both his singing and staging are excellent.

I agree this is a great version - he could lose the hat, but he does all the things one wants to see with this cavatina. Bravo!
