Hey any c vectra drivers can any1 help me ??? I am looking to buy an vectra cdti 150 maybe 05 - 06 . i want to know about the esb on these cars . i heard it is an option and that it is not standard ? is that correct . i know the car comes with t.c and c.b.c standard but i want esp . how will i know that the vectra im looking at has esb.? will there be a button on it on the dash ?
I don`t think 70+ is the right temperature.I have the same car and my mates as well and we always have above 80c on the motorway. When bootin it can reach 90 or just above.
I have to agree with bartytron - your engine is cold, maybe another 10 mins driving before bootin' it would have done your car good.
Also, not sure if this is 200bhp? Mine is 186bhp and I achieved an average of 7.2s over a set of 3 timed runs - compared with your 8.5s. Could be cos yours was driven cold?
Erm... ever driven one of these? You could sit at 80mph on the motorway for over an hour and the temp gauge rarely goes above 80c. Max I've had is just below 90c.
in theory you might get better times with the traction control off... with my car it's almost a second more with traction control on... but you will need a perfect launch...
is not the 19cdti 150h<;you have only 5speed...i have the 19cdti 150hp and is so fast with 6 speed...

More like 9 secs. Never trust an Opel speedo.

@elegantdouchebag what you mean? is iot not accurate?

@elegantdouchebag come on, just like that.
What else should we not trust?

the water temp gauge normally stands right at 12 o clock, means ~90, so if the gauge is not damaged, we can consider it as "cold".

I think that the indicators are going a bit fast...

Next fuckin stupid man! Engine in your car is so cold! Do you want to destroit your diesel engine? Stupid junky!
bartytron 2 years ago
That was 8.5s, only 1s faster than the Astra 1.7cdti. Not worth the extra money and worse fuel economy of the vectra.
