I am really enjoying my new Carvin SH575 & V3m. A new single "My Guitar" featuring my new Carvin guitar and amp is coming soon. I have been blessed to record-play with so many different guitars. Fenders, Ibanez, the list goes on. On my SPIN CYCLE album I recorded with 4 different guitars and one even had glass fretboard. The company is called GlassTones. All of those different guitars have helped to shape and define me as a player! It's all part of growing and finding your voice!
Hey dude I like the tone on this Carvin. I think this guitar sounds great. I can tell you love the Carvin. I seen you live on stage and I like the sound of the Carvin guitar. I saw you last year when you didn't have the Carvin and you can really tell the differance. The Carvin has much better tone then the old white guitar you had not to say that the other one was junk. But I think you have found the right Guitar in your new CARVIN. . I would buy one!
Yeah... she does look amazing. Reminds me of Dads old guitar. It's a work horse too though. I have a new tune called, "My Guitar" coming very soon that will feature this guitar and amp. I am really excited about this new music because I'm exploring new tones and stretching out a bit.
I recognized the closing piece on this interview as the title track from Drew's "Spin Cycle" album. This album was NOT recorded on a Carvin guitar; it was recorded on Glasstones guitar This interview was clearly a plug for Carvin guitars, and it is a gross misrepresentation to use a recording from another guitar company. Why would Carvin and Drew use a song that was recorded on another companies guitar and lead everyone to believe that that tone comes from a Carvin guitar?
@ImStPete ... the majority of a players tone comes from his hands and touch .. I'm sure that Drew can coax similar tones from his SH series Carvin .. and maybe they used that brief clip at the end of this video due to the fact that he hasn't had time to record something new with his Carvin ... just a thought
