It worked out better then I expected, not only did they beat okc and memphis, but went on to beat the heat in the finals to win it all in Miami against the big three, a huge reversal from the 06 finals. It just doesn't get any sweeter then that.
To those referring to this as a smart play, I think Jason Kidd probably did it more out of irritation that the coach was out on the floor. I know that when I play ball, I hate spectators who creep over the sidelines and get in my way.
