@Scarbgunner apparently you never learned proper spelling or sentence structure. what about dry firing? or checking the function of your gun after field stripping or doing a trigger job, which in the case of a 1911 is especially important? trigger discipline IS important, im not denying that, just saying, the gun is pointed in a safe direction, and he COULD be ready to fire. i didnt know you could read minds. just relax and dont critique other peoples tips until you have your own gun company ;)
@Scarbgunner i didnt mean to turn it into an argument, i suppose there are different methods of trigger discipline lol depends who teaches you how to shoot i guess.
Great to see this video. I was just guessing when I first started shooting like this. But its exactly what I just schooled wifey with. I knew it was push n pull! :)
@withoutreasonorrhyme Its personal preference to wear a watch upside down, just as wearing it on your right hand. He most likely puts it that way so he can see the time whilst shooting.
Wether he is a champion or not (I don't know him), I think that he should rather bend his right elbow a bit more instead of raising his shoulder that much. This way he'd get a little bit more control while it would be more relaxing for the joints.
@JUKEBOXX1990 The best way to reduce muzzle flip is to make sure that the web of your shooting hand is as high up on the backstrap as possible without being in the way of the slide. Compare this to holding the grip with about half an inch of space between the top of the backstrap and the top of your hand, in which case you will get lots of muzzle flip. Do this in combination with a push with shooting hand, pull with support hand, and squeeze, and you will reduce your muzzle flip.
@whersthefilm Why don't I just run with the pistol in one hand and hold a beer bottle in the other hand like some uneducated white hick? Btw I'm black ;)
Very cool!!! just got my SA MC Operator today and was looking for an instructional vid on how to properly shoot my pistol. Part 1 and 2 of your videos covered everything, thanks for sharring your knowlege.

Sir, are u a distinguished shot? What qualification do u have? Why should we trust what u are telling us? Perhaps u could make a video demonstrating ur abilities.
@bonebeans Youtube community, why should we trust or listen to anything bonebeans is telling us? I see no reason. Bonebeans' comments go hand in hand with the "grain of salt" expression.
I found this really informative. Thanks man.

Great informational video,,, what a great job... I want to personally thank
you Mr. Wilson... Great generosity on Mr. Wilson's part, a private lesson
like this would cost you $1500.00 dollars, or more... Again, thank you so
much... This is "giving back" to the sport... As for Billy's use of English, it
was just perfect, I understood every concept... Kinda of like how I would
think the great Samuel Clements, would have sounded, giving this great presentation...
