I remember 1976 as a teenager taking armful of LPs to friends' houses and just spending lazy Saturday afternoons playing our choices on an 'old' stereogram. This was almost always played every week. It was a great song and album to hear when you're 15. And now, 35 years later, at 50 it's still a great song and album to hear.
This song is truly timeless. I first heard it in the 70's, even had the original album and loved it, not a bad song on it. Here it is 40 years later and it is still a song that invokes introspection and longing for a better time. Bravo....
Soulfully Melodic , can actually picture that woodland scene with the sunlight glinting through the trees and reflecting off the stream, like sparkling jewels.
this song reminds me of my dear Uncle that died who introduced me to Ash...I was only a kid when he used to play Argus in the 70's...amazing songs & music...rock on to everyone who love Ash....Peace
I heard this yesterday. I thought, wow at last something new. Great song by new talent who knows his roots.I need to get this record. Little did I know. Wishbone Ash from seventies.
My Lord, one of my all time favorite bands, just recently re-discovered...Spent a lot of time in college listening to them in a, shall we say, somewhat altered state?
The only album I've bought on vinyl, tape,cd,as the years have gone by,because the idea of these guys living in bedsits in Notting Hill,or wherever and writing these amazing songs on acoustic guitars fills me full of the hope of what rocknroll will always be about.
I always listen to it on the computer

I find this song perfectly suited for Roland of Gilead and his quest for the Dark Tower.
