Spellbound Dizzy was quite ambitious. Just over 100 screens of wandering about seems like nothing now in the era of the Playstation and Xbox but back then it was a big deal on the 8 bit machines. Spellbound introduced some novel touches (extra animations for eating food and falling from high distances for example) but I felt the series had jumped the shark at this point . Interesting remix too. :-)
I went trough Dizzy 1-6. I think 5th (this one - spellbound dizzy) was the most interesting one. On the 48k it was much harder with the shamrock, the guy wouldn't take it. you needed to place it near him and while standing between the guy and the shamrock press the button and force the guy to take it. Otherwise it wouldn't even ellow to press a button on the guy.
This was the hardest dizzy game IMO, never completed this one, i got really far tho. Brings it all back you know. Takes me back to when i was a kid, with not a worry in the world!

Was that what i was missing gahhhhhhhh so many hours and so many spectrum crashing instances!!!!!!
This remains the only dizzy adventure game i could not complete.
