  • Thanks for posting!

  • I remember my oldest sister recorded this entire documentary back in 1998 or 1999. I was either 6 or 7 so i wasnt really into Lucy back then. But I had decided to watch this documentary with her. And when this song played and they remembered her I cried hard like the kid I was. Hell im tearing up a little bit now.

  • whoooo sings the last song? the funny valentine song. i cant find the song that sounds exactly like that

  • @Amandork456 Ella Fitzgerald- My Funny Valentine

  • @tubebammy nah thats not it. it doesnt sound the same

  • @Amandork456 I think she is originally who made it. But as I searched for it I found out that plenty of ppl made their own versions to it lol. Etta James made one herself, so just so ya know the one the you're looking for may be hard since there are different versions.

  • @tubebammy yeh i know. but thank u. :) i looked at ALL the versions. n there was none like this one. so i just downloaded the vid into mp3 form n cut off the vid parts. just for the song. lol

  • Lucille Ball set the standard for comedy that has yet to be surpassed by anyone. She will be cracking people up a thousand years from now. Her life was a gift to us all.

  • As much as Lucille Ball was appreciated, equally the same, she wasnt. I wish they would have made her last show character more realistic, I think that the show would have made it. She really needed one las hurrah and vote of confidence from the public that we still loved her, and needed her. It was sad to hear Mrs. Daniels state that Lucy knew by her show getting canceled, that it was the end of her career as she knew it. God bless Ms. Ball.

  • I LOVE YOU LUCY! thank you...

  • Lucy will forever be remembered and missed. She is the best all time actress.

  • the lucy shows were good but

    NOTHING beats I love Lucy

lucy ricky fred and ethel are the best couples in TV history, there was never a bad episode

  • I appreciate this so much. I think the singer is Vicky Carr. God Bless Lucy.

  • AND right after Lucy died..THIS ASSHOLE GARY MORTON MARRIED A 20 year old..WHAT A ASSHOLE...

  • @UFOSPACE1999 Really? Wow, didnt know that Is he still alive? Did he sponge off of Lucy? Because I dont remember him ever being a comic like they say.

  • Lucille Ball will never know it of course but Lucy Ricky Fred and Ethel got me through my childhood, It been a good many years of laughter, it was Lucy & Viv, and then she struck pay dirt again with Lucy & Mr. Mooney the Banker even today 2011 on You Tube Lucy can still be funny and Laughter reigns again with her side kicks Ricky, Ethel (Viv) , Fred, and of course Mr Mooney oh ya Uncle Harry too

  • All I can say about this documentary is, Thank you!

I grew up watching I love Lucy reruns after school. It brings back sooo many sweet memories.

    Thank you!!!!

  • By the time I Love Lucy appeared on televison my grandmother was already a young mother to three young kids. So one night when all the kids were in bed she turned on the television and there was Lucy, Ricky, Fred, and Ethel. I am glad Lucy and Desi could make people laugh even if they couldn't make themselves laugh. Happy Holidays everybody!

  • who sang the final song " My Funny Valentine"?

  • Dear Lucy,

Thank you for being our Valentine.

  • i cried at the end. a true legend. RIP LUCY-3

  • this was amazing !!! thank you for sharing .

the ending choked me up :( WE LOVE YOU LUCY !

  • P.S. I understood what my grandma experienced when I was stationed at Misawa Air Base in Japan and was watching an episode of " The Lucy Show" where Lucy is facing Viv, grabs Viv's wrists and holds them up in front of her, shaking her arms vigorously , shouting excitedly in Japanese. I didn't understand a single, solitary word but I laughed so hard because she was FUNNY! :)

  • Grandma would watch her on WTTG 5 ( Washington, D.C. T.V. station) back in the 1970's & I used to translate, since my grandmother didn't speak English but I soon realized that my grandma was laughing SO HARD watching her, I just stopped translating and laughed with her! May God bless the woman who brought LUCY into this world! (continued)

  • I've loved Lucy Mostly all my life when I'm upset and feeling down watching her puts a smile on My face and makes me forget my problems I love Lucy forever !!!!

  • I used to watch Lucy reruns in the morning with my mother. I cried when I started school because I would miss Lucy. My mother would laugh at Lucy's antics till she had tears. Then she would get very serious and and point at the TV and say "That is the funniest woman in the world right there." I agree.

  • Tremendous talent, unequalled by anyone else. Desi was weak. She was strong. Ruined an amazing combination of talent & affection.

  • I will still.cry when I see.this.and hear my funny valentine.

  • :''-(

  • This was such a great documentary :) I was balling at the end. I love! I love lucy!

  • Thank you for posting this documentary. I always look up American Master's Lucille Ball and now I know why I really couldn't find it. Finding Lucy is a wonderful documentary. It gives you an insight to the hard work, dedication and romance of being an actress in the 1940s and 1950s....Thank you again!

  • Beautiful........just beautiful.....

  • I know it wasn't really a happy ending for Lucy and Desi, but they're together now and that makes me feel better. <3

  • Lucy was such a star, in the real sense, she shone:)

  • I cry every time I watch this documentary.

  • this breaks my heart to know she didnt really have a happy ending. I hope she's aware now that we miss her so much.

  • @datswassup07 It is really sad, but the consolation is that when she was in the hospital before she died, she saw how much everyone still loved her because of all the cards she got and the letters and the people across the street who put up a sign for her and everything. That comforts me ♥

  • I've loved Lucy since I was a kid growing up in the early 90's watching old tv shows. Even recently I watched an episode of ILL with the volume on mute. Even with no volume Lucy had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. That's real talent. Dezi Arnez was also an amazingly talented person on many levels.

  • Lucille ball was alot of fun when she play I love lucy,I am going to miss her as I love lucy

  • What a Wonderful Documentary!!!! Thank you "sbmsalz2" for all the hard work in posting this for all to enjoy.

  • i always get a bit teary eyed at the end of this

  • that last thing Desi said: "you know, Lucy, being married to you isnt easy, but it sure is a lotta fun!" that was sooo cute!!!1 i miss them all!!!! :) thank you for posting this!!!

  • who sings this version of my funny valentine?

  • @CesarManiaX == her name is Liz Queler.

  • Thanks! for posting all these much appreciated

  • Lucille Ball was a gift from heaven. Her laughter brings me tears, makes me forget about my troubles and finally makes me thank God everyday for making such a talented person. Like Diana said "I believe there is laughter in heaven because Lucille Ball is there"

The ending made me tear up RIP Lucy.
