My parents had an 85 Eldorado. Comfy but slower then hell. I think it was like 115hp

the power displacement has nothing to do with it. It's the aluminum 4.1(HT4100) with EFI that gives it the good mileage :)

I might as well have an Eldorado. The '83 seville i'm driving only gets about 12 MPG's. Does an Eldorado get a little worse mileage or the same?

I had one that was not a biarritz. White exterior burgundy interior. Mint i bought in 95. Absolutely loved the car. Quiet and a very smooth relaxing ride even at highway speeds. V8 front wheel drive. However I thought the anti freeze was dirty changed it out and blew a head gasket a few months later. That ruined the cam and i was forced to sell it. Who knew there was an additive in the anti freeze because of the aluminium engine. I had the original sticker $25 k in 1985!

She's a beauty..I have a 1985 Eldorado same color but not a Biarritz. It has Touring Suspension & dark red interior.
