I will say what was interesting about this for me, was years ago... My uncle who is a Harley rider told me that now a days the sound is artificially placed. He explained that just as with car engines, as technology progressed natural engine sounds became quiet. He told me that riders complained to the company because they want the sound. Each person can only try to guess why someone would want that. When I found that out, I did become less intimidated by rough looking riders~lol
