  • this is really good why cant everyone just stop talking crap hes a musician and the way he plays is his style

  • I like this tempo :)

  • fuck all the bad comments, you play like i do, for enjoyment and nothing more. Nicely done.

  • valentina lisitsa plays the best version in youtube

  • I looked at the strings more than I did to his hands...

  • good job. you are very close to the perfection. keep working.

  • Impassioned performance I really like it.

  • it may be slow, but it has that nice personal style to it :3

  • this piano suuuuuuuucks!

  • this is really great keep working at making your fingers more lighter on the piano

  • OMG!! waauuu Felisidades amigo tocas geniial ! algun dia me gustaria tocar asi! :DD no wauu me quede sin palabras ! :DD (Y) (Y) wau wau wau wau

  • I always prefer structure to tempo. I like it. With mistakes and all.

  • poco presto agitato hahaha

  • god damn it i love tha way he makes music !

  • Good job!

  • This is great!!!! I hope I will be able some day to play it like you do!!!

  • Um pouco fora do ritmo

  • you sir are one of the most amazing piano players i have ever seen in my entire life!

  • @scorcherchill lol you must be joking

  • Un très bon début, bravo, continuez !

  • My all time favourite pianosong! I'm 30 and am playing it as well butt with my 1.5 years experience its only the bars 1-28 that i know. On tempo that is but i'd rather play it your tempo the full length. Great playing!!!

  • BAD AS HELL, YOU NEED TO PLAY IT FAST !!!!!!

  • @nisim2000 Better slow than not at all.

  • @GibsonLesBud No ! ! !

  • @nisim2000 Snob!

  • @GibsonLesBud he thinks he can play better than this awesome performance!

  • @minhatdeptrai I havent seen any videos of him playing the piano...:-).

Best version of this song surely is the one of Valentina lisitsa. Watch it!

  • @GibsonLesBud Lol i already did before watching this one. Totally agreed!

  • Beautiful, and from memory at that :D great job!

  • May I ask how you were when you learnt this? Thanks...

  • so many losers who only know how to comment on other people, but never have the gut to post their great performances here for demostration!

  • This is great! Although is slow, it's nice to know he learns classical pieces from Youtube because I do too!! It's good to start off slow because if he plays it over and over, he would eventually become fluent and playing it faster! Keep up the good work!

  • I started playing piano when i was 8 and now i'm 14. i think that you did a great job it needs a little work but it takes guts to put this on YouTube. you will get rude comments but they think they are being honest so what you do is take it as constructive criticism and practice get yourself a new video on here and prove them wrong.

  • did you blank at 6:20? it seemed like you held that trill for years...

  • Just needs some polishing and you'd have it great. Don't pay attention to anyone bashing. Just people having no respect.

  • This may not be the best recording of this amazing piece... but he has done a very good job. It is played much slower and I really like it... It is my wish and dream to play this piece.... Very well done!

  • :41-:46 is complete shit. slop.

  • This needs to be much more faster. The tempo marked for this peice is Presto and that is certainly not presto. Needs to be more developed and needs to stop making soo many mistakes.

  • plutocrank = troll

  • This piece is really tough, but I think accuracy is achieved through slow practice. Take some time to slow down and work with the metranome.

  • One more thing... If that weirdo actually saw all my posts on people, he would've seen that I also tell people they do a really good job too. I'm not a "yes" man, I tell it like it is. No shit this dude is LEARNING... but to be honest he should've gotten a HELL OF A LOT better before posting this.

  • @plutocrank i tottally get what your saying.

  • "glanceatlife" didn't talk shit but the other guy did, so this is for you... Get a fucking life other than talking shit on youtube. All the OPINIONS I give and sometimes good and sometimes NUTREAL, but never straight up cussing and shit talking to the people I comment on. Constructive criticisum, nothing more. Jesus christ. Grow the fuck up. LOLOL

  • OMG LMFAO... Wow, is this seriously what you little kids do on here? I got an email saying "jmsatriani" responded, and it was shit talking. Then I get on to reply and find my name mentioned in one of the top 2 comments. Wow. Look you little "hide behind the keyboard" faggots....... If you want to talk that big boy shit then message me personally and if by some chance we live near eachother, then we'll talk.

  • @plutocrank dude, stfu... its only about 200 against your measly little opinion... Even if I respected it, it doesnt give you the right to insult everybody here!

  • Amazing. Don't mind the trolls, I'd love to see those imbeciles try to play this ;D

  • Pq pessoal ta discutindo tanto sobre 2 mãos? é o basico do piano tocar com 2 mãos¬¬'

    Amo essa musica \o/

  • Как через мастер темпо пропустили

  • 25 people are deaf

  • it doesn't matter how slow he plays

that is a difficult song at least he can play it

  • This piece is amazing to slow down and analyze, almost textbook material. That is what he is doing. Perhaps not, maybe it is only conquerable by the great masters, but you come to appreciate this song more when it is slowed down a little.

  • You need a bit of practice, but this is amazin' :D

  • I hate when I come on these videos of people who have spent so much time learning these masterpieces from years and years ago and see someone knocking them down. I think you played beautiful, practice makes perfect and that's all anyone can ever do is strive to be perfect.. perfection is not satisfaction its what is socially acceptable. I say you did wonderful, never give this up I love hearing anyone with this much compassion play.

  • playing it at this speed actually makes the song comprehensible to those of us who cannot play compared to normal!

  • And in this video you've played a little bit slow. Keep practicing the 3rd movement. A lot of mistakes. 6 for you.

  • Very good tecnic! just relax fingers and rotate wrist with the left hand

  • wow it took me about 3 months to play the entire thing little bit slower than you do :/ Are you major in music? cuz I want to be :P

  • An agitated Beethoven was having a needle pressed against his a*s when he composed this movement.

  • And he has beautiful/handsome piano fingers. They are nice and thin to fit in between the keys. That's why he is able to play so well.

    Well done! Thumb UP!

  • 23 ppl don't ply piano! SO UNFAIR! >:(

  • awesome!!!

  • well done :)

  • great job !

  • this is a perfect speed for him, any faster and you can tell many wrong notes will be played so it's and excellent performance

  • Common guys give this guy some credit. This song is really hard. Well done. PLayed it brilliantly.

  • @Jaz7s - They are ALL jealous!

  • LOL, :) maybe he is a newbie... an awesome one. :)

  • Um wow , some harsh and immature comments. I personally found this amazing. Im not replying directly to plutocrank because id rather not argue back and fourth but I dont know why in the world that person would say you learned this from youtube , this seems wayyy to advanced to learn from youtube. Doing two different things with both hands is hard on its own and i dont think how "akward" ones hands look matter when playing as well as this.

  • @glanceatlife - I couldn't have said it better...

    This is some good playing.

  • @glanceatIife Doing two different things with both hands is hard when you are consciously commanding your hands to do each thing. When you practice musical pieces, the movement of your hands is stored in muscle memory, which is also the reason it's even possible to play without a note sheet. For my part, I can even have some trouble remembering what to play when I'm using only one hand because I'm so used to play with both.

  • @lleksikon never learned to play piano but, make a great point, specially if u think of it like typing, both hands are doing something different cause ur not trying to command them.If ur trying to make 2 different tapping noises on a table in different beats tho that can be a bit difficult not to eventually do the same thing with both hands at least once.Practice though,im sure is what helps people get used to that, until i ever start playing if i do,ill just be amazed at other peoples talents lol

  • @glanceatlife I'll argue on your behalf the guy is a cloth eared Turd with a total lack of taste, I have plenty of free time,I can only hope one day I get a chance to learn this instrument but Im afraid my first love is the Guitar and its an affair I cannot end.

  • Awesome, love this speed :)

  • well played sir.

  • this moviment in presto agitato!!

  • @lordfenix22 This comment in english!!

  • most slow

  • This is what you get from "copy and paste" from youtube. You can't learn to play a song, especially like this, from youtube and not expect to get harassed, sorry bro just being real. Your hands just look too awkward, like you've never played before. Don't get me wrong, you got alot of the notes right, so props for that, but just seems not only ameture but forced. Awkard hands and hitting the keys weird are the only things that comes to mind.

  • @plutocrank Why dont you show us how YOU can do it?? You sound like an ignorant smatrass. Awkward hands?? Forced?? I mean, you think this piece should be nailed by the first attempt? This requires lots of practice until you get it right, and he's getting there.

  • @plutocrank Try uploading a single video of yourself on here before you start making any criticizing comments to anyone.... You have 0 uploads, and tons of comments being a condescending shud of a being. Is life fun being a troll??? Must suck that you sit on youtube saying stuff like this because you are jealous. So what if he messed up? So what if its slow? Its called learning. His hands don't look awkward, the song has odd fingerings. Fingers 1245 in the arpeggios. Dumbass troll.

  • beatiful

  • Just too slow.

  • you are really good, but lift your foot off the pedal some

  • 17 people like justim bieber

  • Comment removed

  • Becoz he works at google

  • so f**king talented!!!

  • This is reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaallllllllly hard to play. And the perfect way is double of his speed. or more! O.o

  • wt is the metronomic time speed required for this piece? i'm playing it with 200 on croma, but it seems still slow (sry for my english -__-)

  • steinway and sons

  • Not perfect, but still a hell of a lot better than me. So what if it's a little slow? Maybe it sounds better that way.

  • the tempo is too slow

  • Ummm... Nice trying. Still have a lot to learn! Exercise on your technique! Only after you become a virtuoso (perfect technique) you can strive to become a master (put soul and actually "personalize" the interpretation). A long way till then though... Keep it up! Practice makes perfect!

  • this is supposed to be played 'presto agitato' your pace is far too relaxed.. chop chop!

  • @JAKEB125 at firsth i really tought the same... and still he manages to get going with it...

really uncommon... and i really love it!!!!

  • @JAKEB125 don't you think he alredy know that? you don't look pretty smart saying it

  • You play very well. This piece is no picnic; trust me, I tried it a few times. lol

  • ah so this is why you practice all those scales and tri-ads lol

  • fantastic

  • Really good job, now i would spend your time trying to speed it up, it was written slightly faster than that. But hey, i could probably barely pull it off at this speed so who am i to complain XD

  • where is the energy? it's so slow...

  • @kakaboubou34 yeah, i agree, but it is kinda cool to hear this song taken apart like this, rather than a blur of fast notes that the other performers play. and as for google being a subscriber, does it look like anybody care?

  • @kakaboubou34 Something tells me those keys are very heavily weighted, making it hard to play fast with energy.

  • @ancientsolar thats a steinway model d... doubt it.

  • Молодец!! Отработай сложные места и наращивай постепенно темп.

  • very well done for a kid his age for sure... and a most difficult piece to play. However, google Wilhelm Kempff to hear the way a Maestro plays it.

  • just because of this i quit im not playing piano no more ,for what?

  • @Amezz55 Don't quit, if you practice a lot more you'll make perfect.

  • @MegaMavric ya ok thanks pianist

  • oww lord, its amazing!

  • Muito bom. Sabemos que a execução é dificílima! Excelente vídeo! Excelent video, I liked it very very very much!

  • toooo slow, but perfectely played

  • Whish I could play like you! sounds good!

  • I actually think this tempo is better than some of the really fast ones

  • @ClarophonistCJ Hm, then it's not what the composer wanted - but I guess we all enjoy different music ;). It's indicated presto agitato btw. Means (pretty much) the highest speed, in form of agitation.

  • I don't understand why anyone would dislike this.

  • needs some slow practice, bro

  • Sometimes fast songs sound better played slow. SOMETIMES.

I really don't mind wonderful masterpieces played slow, as long as they sound right. Such as this one.

    :)

  • @MrClasicgamer piece my friend*

  • Very nicely done! speeding it up a little wold improve it but, overall, very nicely done!

  • hey are you playing on a steinway.. the piano sounds beautiful

  • @101elton101 if you look closely above the middle of the piano you can see the steinway logo

  • Amazin buddy!! Thanks for that.......

  • Graceful.

  • I agree with the tempo being too slow but it's still pure talent regardless. I still prefer Wilhelm Kempff's version! ;)

  • I'm curious how long have you been playing this because the tempo in my opinion is too slow (very good and sounds awesome) so i was just wondering are you aiming to speed it up a little or are you just gonna stay with this tempo ?

  • WTF! he's tryin to meaty up and modernise an absolutely bestet tune ever ...ran outa steam got bored but i know he must love it cos he tried ..........well done ;-) xx

  • Speed it up a bit...!

  • The artist info says Frederic Chopin. LOL

  • @ChrisKogos YouTube!

  • WTF!!

  • wow nice piano

  • Bla bla bla, nevermind some mistakes.. it's good. I love to play this song (:

  • I wish I had the opportunity to play this song on an instrument that nice...

  • Everybody's a critic. Even a novice like myself could hear and see that it was slower than it should be but couldn't actually see, however heard some errors. I enjoyed this video.

  • He knows his speed limit when playing the piano, which is probably the number one reason people fuck up when playing a keyboard instrument. Fast speed is shallow compared to an emotional performance.

  • Too slow and 2 or 3 errors ? Can you do this ? Me, i can't now. Man you're very good !

  • fucked up at :39, :43

  • that was a LONG trill just before the cadenza. aha.

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice performing.

  • I think he makes music for Google too, I swear I've heard this in some of their videos :O

  • fantastic! and yes. that piano is beautiful.

  • fantastic!

  • ik vind het mooi

  • I don't find this difficult to masturbate to.

  • That piano is beautiful. It's a little bit slower than the actual song. But I liked the fact that you realized that this is your playing speed at the moment and you didn't compromise the piece just to look "cool" kudos. And would like to see this same piece from you again, with a little bit of speed. :)

  • your playing is good, but i think you should hear more performances

  • @ColdToTheCore
