This guy was the best weatherman Boston ever had. They cleaned house at BZ and got rid of all the old guys. He was a stand up guy could have been the national news anchor but had strong mid western values and raised his family in Natick. If you see him aroing town introduce yourself he's a real nice guy.

@ruby055 I loved Bruce, I owe my interest in meteorology to him, 'BZ made a huge error in letting him go (along with other "trusted" news people). Don Kent was great too, I remember him with Shelby Scott and Jack Chase.

That was the weekend that I had to go to Boston with my parents for medical testing at Childrens Hospital. It rained that Saturday. It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I realized that it was the remnants of Opal. Very foggy on Saturday night, our plane was delayed from Hyannis due to fog and president Clinton's helicopter flying into Marthas Vineyard.

I looked up this weather on the weather almanac and the high temperatures for Friday and Saturday were 15-20 degrees cooler than that. The lows were 53-54.

Yeah the weekend was a bit cooler than predicted but Wed and Thurs were pretty close.

Yes, he is indeed missed. After leaving WBZ, Bruce started a company called MySky Communications. A google search can provide further details! ;)
