It's funny how when every other saiyan gets an emotional trigger that they get to a new level. Goku saw krillin die and he went SS1, Gohan saw an android die and that was the catalyst for him hitting SS2. Vegeta saw his own son die and he remained the same, they really treat this character badly sometimes.

There is some sadness to be felt for Vegeta. All his life he was a slave and watched his kingdom beeing striped down. And when he finaly got his power he had to share his throne (strongest man alive) with some one who did NOT train as hard as Vegita did. Not saying that Goku is not training hard but the way Vegeta trainted was INSANE! He almost blew himself up on several ocasions :) tough his motive was not pure he is by far the PROUDEST warrior i know :)

@jbyrd5th Majin Vegeta didn't defeat Goku, He knocked him out while Goku was searching for a Senzu bean to give to him. That is what is called a Sucker Punch, it doesn't count. Not to mention, Goku could have wiped the floor with Majin Vegeta if he went SSJ3, but he wanted to spare Vegeta's feelings.

Don't get me wrong i like vegeta but i think u 21 ppl are wrong. I am sure that people will disagree, but lets face it for a long time Goku's strongest attack requires that he takes energy from others this is called the spirit bomb. While Vegeta is forced to try to keep up he in the end becomes stronger for the simple fact that his power is his own. Goku is a good fighter but when it comes down to it how many times have Goku had to be saved by Vegeta? Sure may have Vegeta died, but Goku died first before Vegeta even got Earth.

teen gohan is awesome and is one of my favorite charcters in the budokai tenkaichi games but Vegeta is just awesome in general, he may not be the strongest but he damn well is the proudest and most stubborn. It's that determination that has made him my favorite character in general.

Goku saw krillin die and he went SS1, Gohan saw an android die and that was the catalyst for him hitting SS2. Vegeta saw his own son die and he remained the same, they really treat this character badly sometimes.

There is some sadness to be felt for Vegeta. All his life he was a slave and watched his kingdom beeing striped down. And when he finaly got his power he had to share his throne (strongest man alive) with some one who did NOT train as hard as Vegita did. Not saying that Goku is not training hard but the way Vegeta trainted was INSANE! He almost blew himself up on several ocasions :) tough his motive was not pure he is by far the PROUDEST warrior i know :)

Not to mention that every time Goku and Vegeta fought Vegeta had less power but still did a shit ton of damage. Every vegeta has been at least 1 super saiyan or 2 super saiyan levels lower than goku and put up a hell of an ass kicking before Goku miraculously revived

@jbyrd5th Majin Vegeta didn't defeat Goku, He knocked him out while Goku was searching for a Senzu bean to give to him. That is what is called a Sucker Punch, it doesn't count. Not to mention, Goku could have wiped the floor with Majin Vegeta if he went SSJ3, but he wanted to spare Vegeta's feelings.
As opposed to all the comments I have made might suggest, I love Vegeta, I just tell the facts.

If this was the old vegeta (Saiyan saga and younger) he'd have made trunks fight cell and sit back looking down on everyone or just one shot cell like he did so many others

I am sure that people will disagree, but lets face it for a long time Goku's strongest attack requires that he takes energy from others this is called the spirit bomb. While Vegeta is forced to try to keep up he in the end becomes stronger for the simple fact that his power is his own. Goku is a good fighter but when it comes down to it how many times have Goku had to be saved by Vegeta? Sure may have Vegeta died, but Goku died first before Vegeta even got Earth.

teen gohan is awesome and is one of my favorite charcters in the budokai tenkaichi games but Vegeta is just awesome in general, he may not be the strongest but he damn well is the proudest and most stubborn. It's that determination that has made him my favorite character in general.
