There have been dozens of examples! Talk to any firefighter - the biggest problem with steel-frame buildings is that they're at a much higher risk of collapse due to fire. That's why they all use fireproofing on the steel, and why they have complex fire suppression systems. Unfortunately, all of these things failed on 9/11. The fireproofing was knocked off, the water pipes destroyed, and firefighters were unable to fight the blaze. If you really cared about truth you'd already know all this.

Well, the original theory was that fuel tanks caused fire, hot enough to melt steel. My argument, working for NYC, the tanks had to be propane, because building codes don't allow hot burning gases to be inside a structure with people, it would be in basments with gases lines running up. Propane doesn't burn that hot unless combined with pure oxygen, even then it's not as hot as jet fuel. If propane were able to melt steel, Metal workers (me) wouldn't use Acetyline w/oxygen to burn metal.
