"We don't use chemicals." We're living in a magic warp zone where organic substances are not made from atoms. They're made from pixie dust from the magic land of Hippy Zenville.
I have no problem with organic approach, and I even buy that it is safer and smarter for the world, but we're lying to ourselves about basic chemistry and it's stifling our progress.
I have a problem with a type of weed that is taking over my lawn. This weed starts to grow in the later spring and throws out cable like extensions to take over larger and larger sections of lawn. This weed goes dormant and turns white in the fall. The leaves on it are thin and nothing short of several doses of round up seems to kill it. The root system is extensive and about the size of small twigs.
@duschkoph I am A landscaper. The big magic secerte to having a great lawn is maintenance. Fertilize in spring and late fall, WATER and CUT on a regular basis (every third day or at least once a week). Make sure to keep your lawnmower clean underneath and the blade sharp. Pick up and dispose of all remaining cut grass once finish.
i've never used any chemicals on my lawn in 21 years.i use white vinegar as a weed killer, etc.organic lawn fertilizer and i have a large compost heap for mulch etc.all natural baby! yeah!
I totally agree, Hemp is the world's most surprising forgotten miracle. Empires were built of its canvas (Dutch for Cannabis) and rope, food and medicine, now fuel and plastic, clean, sustainable, abundant, easy.
There is no rational scientific reason not to use Cannabis to fuel, clothe (cotton uses 50% global agritoxins) and package the world. For the psychological fascists among us there are even THC-free varieties just as prolific in methanol and biodiesel (10x corn yield).
