This is what I wanted to do and I wasn't sure how it would work with the shoulder strap. Your views at the end showing you wearing it with the shoulder strap helped me a lot. Looks a little bulky but I suspect that has a lot to do with how much you have in it vs. how much I may have in it. Thanks for the helpful review.
great set up!!! been debating if the Malaga or the pygmy would fit my needs from your ending pics looks like this would fit the bill and the pygmy may be too big! thanks for sharing loved the vid!!!!!!!!
Cap, Great set up. It looks like you have your bases covered well. The only suggestions I can come up with is a petzl head lamp, and a lighter. When you use your sewing kit, you can melt the excess string. A headlamp will serve you well, and several of them come with multiple output settings. I LOVE mine, even though I also carry a surfire edc light. Really enjoying the videos!!
@firemedic8144 ......there is a Bic lighter in the top outside compartment. Actually I do have a headlamp thrown in there, I just forgot to add it to the video. I think I am going to get a Maxped Tactical Can pouch to hold it on the outside.
