There was no plot, or subltety or suspense, these things are needed for horror. THAT which you made is the cheap shitty Hollywood brand of "shove in as much gore as possible and maybe someone will get scared by it" approach. There is nothing scary about Blood! apart from possibly aids or the virus from 28 days later

You need to learn to put some tension into these things and not just show of your special effects...

Well that depends... horror movies I have never really gotten into, I have only seen fairly poor one's to be honest like the number 23, which isn't scary at all... despite being quite clever, resident evil which is Hilarious with it's dialogue, the others which is a massive dissapointment... So no I don't know an awful lot about horror as a visual style but I do know about the genre, how an author is supposed to build suspense onto a situation with carefully structures

structured* technique and linking things into scenes later on always helps. The characters have to be believable and sympathysable so that the reader can build a connection with them... which is clearly lacking in this film, and that if there is going to be gore then it needs to be quite painful to watch, which this movie actually does do fairly well (screwdriver in the eye etc) but it's too much, if you just maime a character like that you evoke nothing from the audience which is the whole

I can understand perfectly that people in general have a weird sense of entertainment... As an art student I'm aware of stop motion-animation and it's difficulties. Maybe the maker of this video should practice anatomy and movement to make his/her videos a bit better. I have a problem with poorly made stuff. Animation is a hard art form that's why I would like to see videos that are made with talent, intellect and respect for the art of animation.

You have to understand that everyone doesn't start out in ANY art as experts. We have to build that talent as we go... or at least most of us. This is a free video on YouTube that someone made in their spare time and is obviously not professionally done, but as you can see from looking at his channel he IS getting better as he goes. I for one enjoyed the video and as someone who is just starting out in Stop-animation, it has encouraged me.

I enjoyed this a lot. The puppets were awesome, along with the sets. The only thing i thought that could have been better, and maybe i shouldn't be talking but, was the camera work. It was kinda jittery. 5 stars though!
