@2OtakuCousins yeah, but the loud, bombastic music kinda spoils it; when they died in the first season they played a soft version of Moonlight Densetsu, which made the scene incredibly powerful; here the loud, suspenseful sting almost cheapens it

I cried so badly on this. Even thought they all come back. The first season and the last season were real tear jerkers. Losing her friends like that again is just so sad. Unfortunately, that happens to some people and sometime down the road we will all lose someone dear to us. Treasure every moment. I try to. :)
