  • Hello friend!

You know the strength of it to rain?

  • @CR2011VSF This is very strong in heavy rain.

  • My Tent came with a free footprint and tube repair kit (HumbleOutdoors ~$300). I have had no trouble with condensation.

  • There's a review on the REI site about the inside of the tent collecting a lot of moisture, had any issues with that?

  • @steveblaxton I did have moisture issues at times, but usually when the wind was completely dead and when it was really cold.

  • Sold

  • It doesn't look any smaller than a 3 man tent that I see at Walmart. The only difference is the shape of it when it is packed. A normal tent would be about 3 feet long and about 4 or 5 inches in diameter, which is actually a better shape or configuration for strapping onto a bike or slinging over a shoulder on a hike, i think.

I don't see any real advantage to this tent and it probably cost 2 or 3 times as much as a normal and larger 3 man tent.

  • u sold me!

  • Great Info AR! I'll have to check it out!

    Ride Safe!

  • what happens if the airbeads burst because of a rock, stick or an animal? (anything sharp) will it still stand?

  • @harrisisangry You'll have to patch any punctures, but the material the air beam columns are made of are very thick, so the potential of that seems minimized.

  • Looks like something that I'm planning on buying. $300 seems a tad bit too much for a 1 person tent. I plan on touring a lot so this will be a good investment.

  • Looks cool. What happens if you get a puncture in it though? Is it repairable?

  • @Alflington You can repair punctures fairly easily. Haven't done it yet myself.

  • Do they make a 2 person version?

  • @robinphillips Yea they may a "2P". Google them up and check out their website

  • nice :) thanks atlas, i'll be trying to get hold of one of these now for the big adventure

  • @danmoto73 Big adventure?

  • Daang that is the niftiest little tent.

  • very clever to use air-inflated beams instead of plastic rods. A bit expensive, tho.

  • That's pretty cool. I'm just not hardcore enough to spend over $300 on a 1 person tent.

  • Neat tent. What is the MSRP on that?

  • ingenious

  • Nice, can't wait to see videos of some road trips.

  • Damn, no aussie distributers... looks like a great tent though.

  • Looks like a nice tent. Ive had problems with tents like that when stakes wont stay in the ground(Sand)

  • Cool.

  • That would be great for camping on the fly. Thanks Atlas.

  • That's an awesome piece of gear......thanks for posting.

  • Sweet

  • Great find!

  • i do like that it takes no time too set up ad looks to be very portable gor carring on a log motorcycle trip

  • Thanks for sharing Bill.

  • Nice tent , but I just priced it in the UK, £350 uk pounds just a bit too expensive for me.
