I wish I cound write 字 like you. My 3rd and 4th strokes are so unnatural. A japanese teacher told me that my kanjis look like a 5 years old child's writing :(
I really find it an art how people can write Kanji, I am just starting to learn how to speak and write Japanese, so In my opnion, I like these smooth words. i am certainly going to download Gimp, and try to do same as you are doing now =)
the kanji for moe is this: 萌え (with nichi and tsuki under the horizontal stroke) as shown correctly in the video, but the kanji of mae is this 前, with tsuki and katakana 'ri' under the horizontal stroke.
however, the kakijun of kaku, as you correctly mentioned, is different from the one shown here.
nah, i made a vid of how to get it and get new brushes.. go to my vids section, how ever how you get there.. b/c ihave no clue lol.. and check it out :P
I used to have a linux program that as i typed it would convert the characters into Kanji (it would find words and it would put them in the correct lettering). I forgot what it was called, and i lost it when i began updating SUSE, and found out the newest version is a joke, so i moved to Kubuntu. Linux has the best cross language tools out there, they even beat windows.
it must take japanese people sooooo long to write in school
