  • good job...and no need to be nervous! just putting yourself out there as a genderqueer is very important and helpful...

  • I really respect you, and I hope that I can be as open about my gender at some point as you are <3

  • let me help u, your gender identity is pretty gay

  • @legendoffuzz Because gender identity and sexual orientation are the same thing, right?

  • a) I think I'm in love.

    b) I think I may be just like him (but female physically).

    c) I'm so happy that he and people like him exist.

  • i want to meet this guy!

  • Being gay, I think that a LOT (but definatly not all!) of gay guys feel this way about their gender roles. I think gays need to embrace there natural feminity and learn to accept there genderqueerness if they have it

  • Very articulate guy! Awesome vid - thank you :)

  • If I were a guy and more attractive I would look like that guy...sort of...

  • This is a beautiful thing to see, and an inspiration for people like me struggling with the inane details of social gender-expression expectations.

  • This is completely irrelevant to the topic, but what a cutie!

  • I love this one... thank you for posting it .D

  • OK so how do I know if I'm genderqueer or just an effeminate gay guy?

  • Well, genderqueers often fluctuate between both genders. Many genderqueers "crossdress", but not always exclusively. For the most part, genderqueers are androgynous. I know of a genderfluid person with a penis in my local LGBT youth center who "crossdresses", but does not shave or wear makeup, so that's one example of a genderqueer for you.

I am genderqueer, because I will "crossdress", but I will sport apparel of my supposed assigned physical gender if I feel like it as well.

  • @lyriclex its about what you feel like you are, really.

  • @lyriclex

I've been wondering that for a long time!

  • thank you for your post...wouldn't it be lovely if the world could understand gender roles as nothing more than arbitrary rules....i feel a movement / awareness has begun..I appreciate this movement begun by your generation to move us towards a more fluid existence..it is more than comforting to know there is a community out there for us all :)

  • amazing video

  • "I personally identify as nervous, right now." Lol. Sooo adorable!

  • this guy is so adorable, and I can totally relate to his identity

  • AAAAHHHHH I swear we're the same person haha. It's nice to see "people with penis" identify as genderqueer, makes me feel like i'm feeling something legitimate so thank you for sharing your story :)

  • COOL =D

  • Thank you so much for posting this... I've been really struggling with my identity as a genderfluid person myself, trying to understand where I fit in and who I am. It is so uplifting to hear someone else in the same position and so comfortable.

Thank you for shedding a light on the realities of gender!

  • :) :)

  • Totally get this....pretty much where I come from too.

    Cheers--Kyle

  • Rock on! I am genderqueer too. In many respects I feel the same way ze (I am assuming you use gender neutral pronouns till I find out otherwise) does regarding my body. I used to be more dysphoric and was on mones for a while. Now adays things like surgery are more or less "if I could afford it, it would be fun/cool/hot to get a pussy and some bigger boobs". But I am not all depressed about my equipment anymore anymore. Genderqueers rock! Yay for genderqueers!

  • I adore you ;)

  • Boccaleone, I need to clarify and hopefully educate. I am a female born/bodied transgender/genderqueer person (male identified). I can safely say that if any male identified person got with me, it would be a gay/queer relationship.

  • 'When I could see it, it was like it was arbitary'...

...Nice, this fits with the sort of thing I think and feel.

Got some nice videos I tried to make.

  • all of these youtube videos on gender bending and gender identity are really interesting. i don't know why i never thought to look this stuff up.

this person sort of reminds me of sam from freaks and geeks when he smiles. adorable.

  • I think there's more of us than we know...

  • yeah

  • no one can say who we are only us and we make the decicions! " we are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams"

  • ooh this person is yummy, if only i had a credit card :(

  • You are both wrong ... and bigoted to boot. Jason prefers female bodied transfolk as partners. Seeing how being a fag is all about being a guy that likes guy ... he just doesn't fit the bill. But thanks for spreading a littel more hate!

  • can you please define female-bodied transfolk? Sometimes the terms get a bit confusing.

I think it's so interesting though how even traditional classifications like "hetero/homo/bi sexual" cease to apply in any meaningful way...it definitely helps convince me what drivel labels are :)

  • This is awesome. I'm gender fluid as well, and it's amazing that Jason can speak so openly about it.

  • Gender rules ARE confusing.

All the boys in the neighborhood come to my house to dance to Madonna and do make-up with me. They have a safe space for that. Besides, they think I'm a mermaid.

I love your mind, you have amazing thoughts for being so young. Kudos.

  • Very true.
