If you want to watch videos,do you go into menu folder then click on it and create video folder and put vids on it,is that correct.

I wanted to use vlc player put vlc pnd file into apps folder and what about the codecs can they go into apps folder.

So does the pandora recognize pnds from both SD card slots or only one? if it recognizes from both... what happens if you have two instances of the same program? Do you just have two copies of it?

Does that work the same way on the pandora itself (the built in flash space)? Are there still Pandoras available? Does it have a microphone? Is there a version of SKYPE for it?

Only on the video editing PC, as Linux doesn't support my professional FullHD Video Editing card (also, there's no professional editing software available for Linux yet. TV Business is my main job :))

And I am doing my videos in front of that PC.

Yes, but only for firmware updates. The rest doesn't really work out, as the classical Linux Package Managers use databases and assume that no files will be removed (which happens here if you remove your SD Card)

Nice tutorial! Although it would have been nice of you to mention at the start that neither the Appstore nor the File Archive have all the Pandora programs, as many of them are spread out in various places. The most complete lists of Pandora software are on the community-maintained Pandora Wiki.

So … Can I also move & rename the pnds on my pandora? Or will the files be locked because they’re in use?

And if I can, will it refresh automatically and find them? Or will I have to unplug and plug again?

You can also create a /pandora/apps directory that will show an app in the menu AND the desktop.
