He suffered and died on the cross paying for the law you broke in His life's blood so He could legally dismiss your case. And once you are at the age of accountability, when we step out of our baby minds and understand sin, and are able to understand what Jesus did for us, then you are held accountable. As is everyone who reach the age of accountability.

@sorry8140 No, you're wrong. You aren't responsible for what Adam and Eve did. You're responsible for what you did. When was the last time you lied? What about when you lusted after someone? Stole? Cursed? I know I've done all of those sins. You can never make Christ unknown. You can't destroy the records. The Bible says in Luke 19:40, if we keep quiet, even the rocks would cry out. Even if we wanted to cower out and try to remove blame by destroying records, the truth would find its way.

@Colossihitman if i curse under my breath, any harm done? if i have a sex drive but abstain, is any harm done? if i tell a lie, perhaps a petty one or out of sarcasm, is any harm done? the answer, of course, to all of these is no. but will god still send me to eternal anguish for designing me this way? yes. so why worship something as unjust and wicked as that? and if he is so angered by lust, why did he put a sex-drive section into our brains? he sounds like a moron to me. some sins r harmless.

@stephjh2006 ya pretty much. i use the lords name in vain. helps relieve stress. so that sin isnt harmful, its actually helpful. i lust. but i keep it to myself. doesnt do anybody any harm. if god cant handle it, maybe he should take away my sex drive. i do not worship the big daddy big boss. once again, no harm. the sins that are important are already obvious, and the ones that arent are ridiculous.

@sorry8140 So you don't think that your sins reflect a lot about you? I know that when I lie I demonstrate how I value truth. I know when I lust I show how I regard women and the sacred bond of sex with a partner. I know when I gossip it reflects how I view other people and myself. One of the problems is not so much the perceived impact of each individual sin but the underlying nature that so flippantly acts with much abandonment.

@sorry8140 Perhaps getting some perspective would help. I guess you live in America or at least, like I, in the west. Do you take part in the process that makes the poor poorer and the hungry remain hungry? You point out your "sins" are not destructive. If you were truly good then you would seek out that which is good you would tell me the impact of your righteousness rather than the impact, or lack of, of your sin. Could it be that you live contrary to good?
