I'm watching this video in 2011, 16 months after the video has been posted and is moving towards 50000 views, and it surprises me that the Derma-Rx Blemish Spot still remains unknown. I'm trying to find it on the web, but no results so far. The derma rx doesn't sell their products online and has no store locator on their website, my good friends Amazon and Ebay give no results either. I live in Europe and have no idea where to buy this 'wonder in a bottle'. Any tips? Anyone?:)
@belgijka I contacted them for you and they're a little inept when it comes to online purchasing. I suggested they put up a store locator and an online storefront. @priscystarr Ooh definitely read my blog before you try anything artificial and drying. I have tons of info on there. Getting rid of your acne involves a lot more than just putting a product on your skin, especially if you want to get rid of it permanently.

I have a boil on my face. This morning, I took a cloth and diped it in really hot water and applied it on the boil. The heat opened up the pore and i slowly squeezed it out gently, allowing the puss come out of it. But the boil is still there :( It's red and a lil hard, right next to the end of my smile. I just applied clearasil ultra rapid action treatment cream. It's supposed to reduce the spot size and reduce redness within 4 hrs. But could this work for boils as well? HELP please! :(

The Bare Minerals blemish therapy is great. Worked wonders for my skin and is free of parabens and all that nasty stuff. If you can get past the smell (sulfer is the active ingredient) then you are set! Great for preventing and spot treatement. :). And for people with sensitive skin, Cetaphil has been working well for me. The only draw back is the parabens. :(

@35El It has parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, and other toxic ingredients in it. I definitely recommend a natural cleanser from a brand like 100% Pure, ARCONA, Jaime Earl, Living Nature...there are so many good natural brands that don't contain junk ingredients. Try one that's recommended for your skin type. :) Hope that helped!
@35El You can take it internally, but for the purposes of preventing and reducing a fresh acne scar, you want to apply it topically. I use Dr. Weil vitamin E capsules, break one open, and apply it to my face. It's sticky, so put it on at least 1 hour before bed so it doesn't all go on your pillow, and wash it off in the morning.

@drCasey555 You're overwashing your face and that's why it's getting flaky and overly oily. I wrote a ton of free articles on my blog that you'll find helpful. Be gentle on your skin and baby it - it needs love, not abuse, Casey.

@inputacting Good question! It's called keratosis pilaris. Some of the best treatments I've come across is dietary changes that keep the skin more hydrated, exfoliating the area regularly with a scrub or exfoliating cloth (just be sure to sanitize it after every use) or a gel/serum like glycolic acid or salicylic acid. Natural moisturizing oils like coconut oil and emu oil have also had success with helping to treat KP. Maybe I'll do a video or article on it for you.
Tea tree oil definitely works really well, I'd recommend it to anyone as an overnight remedy. By the way you are just beautiful.. one of those lucky girls who doesn't seem to need make-up to look great

@lovinggsummerrr As long as there's no weird ingredients in there, go for it. :) 100% tea tree oil is always best though, and you can always dilute it with a little water if you are sensitive to it.
@thriceblsd If you have dandruff or a scalp condition, then yes, it could be really helpful for that. Depends what brand you get and what the ingredients are though. Make sure it doesn't have any sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate in it, otherwise it will irritate your skin.

I have red blotches from acne I used to have around the area on my chin and along my jaw line,, i was wondering if they go away? and if there is any way to help them go away?? and also what do you think about tea? and is there one in particular that helps overall the skin better than others?? and is it better decaf or caffeinated?

This product reminds me of the Drying Lotion by Mario Badescu. It also has a powdery looking substance on the bottom and clear liquid on top. I'm guessing it's kinda the same thing? This convinced me to go purchase it. Thanks!

use some witchhazel! it works great. you can buy it at any drug store. its all natural and it dont have anything harmful in it. it gets rid of redness and blemishes, blemishes and ichy and dry skin. It gets rid of all the unnecessary moister in your skin while leaving all the necessary in too. its great and the cost is great too!! :)

@emskys pop a vitamin e capsule and apply it on your acne scars or stretch marks & they should lighten up after a while, its a long process but it does work !

OK I'm 10 years old, I have pores and everything and three pimples I've been using cliniques acne serum every night and morning for 2 weeks and I'm not seeing any difference can you give me some tips?

@TheFaceThatGlitters try just washing ur face twice a day with something gentle (has no harsh chemicals) if u continue using too many things at your age, you might mess it up more in the future. you're too young to be using anything, just wash ur face

@8eurika8s heres a good recipe: its a toner btw
Fill a glass jar about 1/4 with apple cider vinegar ( it has good things in it, DONT USE NORMAL VINEGAR!!)
add boiled green tea to fill the jar up
you can add a teaspoon of tea tree oil and olive oil or sensitive skin. THen apply this toner, and then apply moisturizer.
use this 1-2 times a week :) its really good, u might wanna do a skin patch test first to make sure it works for your skin.

@makeupandmirrors I buy Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil from any health food store. I bought it from Whole Foods one time, and now I get it from a little mom-and-pop store downtown. And no, don't pop pimples.

The Bare Minerals blemish therapy is great. Worked wonders for my skin and is free of parabens and all that nasty stuff. If you can get past the smell (sulfer is the active ingredient) then you are set! Great for preventing and spot treatement. :). And for people with sensitive skin, Cetaphil has been working well for me. The only draw back is the parabens. :(

I have pimples all across my forehead an nose.. i was my face 3 times a day and i keep my hair out of the wa usually and still i have pimples. I dont want scars from popping them. Does anyone know a good way to clear up my skin??

@35El It has parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, and other toxic ingredients in it. I definitely recommend a natural cleanser from a brand like 100% Pure, ARCONA, Jaime Earl, Living Nature...there are so many good natural brands that don't contain junk ingredients. Try one that's recommended for your skin type. :) Hope that helped!

@35El You can take it internally, but for the purposes of preventing and reducing a fresh acne scar, you want to apply it topically. I use Dr. Weil vitamin E capsules, break one open, and apply it to my face. It's sticky, so put it on at least 1 hour before bed so it doesn't all go on your pillow, and wash it off in the morning.

@drCasey555 You're overwashing your face and that's why it's getting flaky and overly oily. I wrote a ton of free articles on my blog that you'll find helpful. Be gentle on your skin and baby it - it needs love, not abuse, Casey.

@inputacting Good question! It's called keratosis pilaris. Some of the best treatments I've come across is dietary changes that keep the skin more hydrated, exfoliating the area regularly with a scrub or exfoliating cloth (just be sure to sanitize it after every use) or a gel/serum like glycolic acid or salicylic acid. Natural moisturizing oils like coconut oil and emu oil have also had success with helping to treat KP. Maybe I'll do a video or article on it for you.

Tea tree oil definitely works really well, I'd recommend it to anyone as an overnight remedy. By the way you are just beautiful.. one of those lucky girls who doesn't seem to need make-up to look great

@lovinggsummerrr As long as there's no weird ingredients in there, go for it. :) 100% tea tree oil is always best though, and you can always dilute it with a little water if you are sensitive to it.

@thriceblsd If you have dandruff or a scalp condition, then yes, it could be really helpful for that. Depends what brand you get and what the ingredients are though. Make sure it doesn't have any sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate in it, otherwise it will irritate your skin.
