  • This is well mint :) !

EVERYONE WATCH ME SINGING IT PLEASE :D :D :D :D

  • it would be cool to hear a school chior sing this song. its such a pretty song.

  • Excellent job!!!!

I posted my video (My Bonnie) two day ago and it was worth it was related to this One of yours so I could enjoy your version of this fantasic song.

I love it as much as the original.

  • Je l'adore! :)

  • I'm not much of a fan of A Cappella renditions of songs but this is pretty good.

  • nice.

  • Now, that was just pretty frikkin' amazing. Harmony was spot on. What's the process of multi-track recording? What special equipment is required? I've got a couple of ditties that I always wanted to find enough good voices to do an a-capella version of some instrumental tunes, I guess it's easier to just be all the voices myself.

  • @avajoyce if you're interested in how msic is recorded using multi tapes and stuff- there a part of the documentary run by Paul McCartney on the DVD "Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road" where Paul shows how he recorded Beatles/Wings stuff using a few tapes

  • sounds as close to the original

  • You did a VERY good job on this....I bet Paul would like it very much......five stars....

  • Great .I love it.I can play guitar along to it.Sounds great.I think we could have a hit record if nobody else has recorded this.Like that Mccarthny fellow or someone.

  • Beautiful. I've added this to my playlist. I love it. Thanks.

  • good job! one of my Favorite songs!

  • Excellent video - the gallery captures the scenery wonderfully. Nicely sung and well put together, must have taken hours !!

  • 5***** and fav!

  • Loved the images - Holidayed at Dunaverty over 20 times and still want more!

  • Wow. That's all you? That's amazing.

  • Wow, sounds like the vocal lessons are coming along nicely. I've never heard this tune before but you did a great job none the less.

  • Thanks, glad you liked it. If you never heard the original, add this extension to the YouTube home page:

    /watch?v=nYhTye_A9H0

so you can see it and see how I emulated the arrangement (YouTube doesn't allow pasting URLs).

  • It's very beautiful. I don't understand why so few views and ratings. Excellent job!

  • awsome job. wonder what your recording setup is. microphones, interface etc?? really nice job-stunning.

    cheers

  • Thanks to all for your replies. Glad everyone liked it. :-)

I used a program called Reaper to record. Highly recommended. You could use any multitrack recording software to do something like this, really.

I used 5 different mics. It doesn't matter what gear you use to record something like this, because they're all monophonic recordings, one track at a time. I suppose you could ultimately just use one mic going into one simple interface if you were ever curious to try something like this.

  • Bravo!

  • You sound fantastic. However, I am still partial to the magnificent Celtic Thunder version.

  • I saw your link on SC website. Very nice rendition!

  • Laying down 40 tracks seems pretty amazing to me. Voices work beautifully together. Images are inspirational...I'm leaving for Scotland immediately!

  • Excellent, your hard work was worth it!!

  • Hey, this is great... Did a great job with the music, that's a lot of voices for one person... the animation on the still images is very cool.. :)
