Idk much about FFIX, so could you please tell me why The main character Girl is sort of like a Princess? Was she captured and forced to be?

@123Ellaaa matter of fact, Princess Garnet was not a princess by birth. She was adopted because of his powers. Kuja's plans were to poison Brahne's mind in order to make her extract the powers of Garnet (which are the powers of the eidolons, like Bahamaut). Garnet was adopted because her boat appeared at Alexandria Castle, she is one of the two last summoners alive.
