It's 2nd hand information, i'm not sure. Personally i started somewhere around version 2.0 or so, can't remember.

Powder game is also known as 'dust' (the file is called dust and it launches from the dust directory on the site.

See the 'Compasses' game on the site? Imagine that as an invisible background layer in powder game. It's like the wind/pressure field, except it's changed by the particles in the game and not your mouse.

That's why powder game isn't all that accurate with it's pressure.

For example, try drawing a square block container and fill it with water. Erase one hole in the bottom. The smallest possible amount of block you can erase is large compared to the particles. As the water flows out, you can see many particles fall through the hole (16 particles fit in any one block size). Those particles are all affected the exact same way by wind/pressure in that area, rather than being fully independent.

i did it a different, but just as effective, way:

where the water stops, put a line of bloc pensize2 and fill the top with a little clone, set alight, left a bit and erase the line of bloc, thus creating a water gun. lol

About the gun.... It works better on v3.7, when you use nitro. I make a long narrow barrel, stop it up with a little ice, and fill the rest with nitro. You can make a fuse of c4. pretty good.
