  • I really like the fact that you use your hands to cook without fear. That way one can enjoy the cooking experience. Adding masalas and salt with hands, and mixing rice with hands etc make your videos so much better than others'

  • Vahchef, since the coconut rice turned out great, I think I'm going to try the Coconut Chutney and the Mango Rice! I love trying new recipes!

  • I was always curious about trying this recipe. After jotting down the steps and all the ingredients, I decided to try it out. So today is Father's Day and I decided to surprise my boyfriend with this delicious dish. He loved it and so did I. I made this delicious dish!!

  • He uses, in order: Dried whole chilis, Black mustard seeds, cumin seeds, split chickpeas (channa dal), split yellow lentils (toor dal), cashews, chopped fresh ginger, curry leaves, green chile (jalepenos), salt, sugar, cilantro (corriander).

    Don't know where you live, but in the US --- dals they'll have where they sell dried beans, black mustard and cumin seeds are w/ spices, but you'd prob have to go to an Asian market or Whole foods for curry leaves.

    but abt this one... my mother prepares coconut rice difrntly .. i mean .. just like biryani but instead of water she uses coconut milk ... and she dsnt use masala but jus saute`s the onions and elachi and dalchini and adds raw rice and coconut milk ... tht tastes wonderfull tooo.. if u kw tht recpe ..c an u pls post it pls
