what a superb artist he is. the more videos i see of his, the more i am impressed. he is up there in my humble opinion with nikhil da and vilayat khan sahib. fortunately/unfortuntely he seems to be very very underrated.

Are you serious?? YOu gotta be either ridiculing yourself or being very naive. YOu gotta remember that Pt. Mukarjee got his style from ustad Vilayat khan. It was Ustad Vilayat Khan who introduced this style of sitar playing... Otherwise, you would only know of Ravi Shankar and his style....
