It's been a big change in my life but she is always here for me when no one else is. I know this was supposed to be about standing up to cancer, but my mom died from Hodgkin Lymphoma. Thinking about it in those terms just makes me even more sad. I have depression, and I self harm. I had forgotten about this song until recently, and now I'm crying because of it. It's my motivator. I will take my life back. I will be me again. I will stand up to depression.
