Great shooting! I get the shakes everytime, it's part of the experience. There is no better feeling than a perfect relase of the arrow delivering a perfect shot while under pressure. Wow it's amazing how many McDonalds chomping idiots will complain about hunting while stuffing down a big mac. Maybe weary on its feet! That doe looked like it was about to fall flat on its face! It had a weird walking form.. As for the does, the ones in my part of Louisiana are ignorant. 40 yds on the First one she went about 10 yards in woods and laid down, her resting place, the other one went under a pushed up log as you see her tail white in the last frame that was her under the log! She ran about 60 yards.
Both were dead within 10-15 seconds...Thats a real deal kill.

nice job! i got a double earlier this season just north of Evergreen. it was awesome! hunted some oaks that were rainging accorns and gettin hammered. shot the first one and i hit her a lil too far back so she just walked off into the creek bottom. the other one stood around blowin and stompin for awhile. finally calmed down about 20mins later and THWACK!! smoke city!! congrats!
Thanks for the great comments. Steve posted the video and sent me the link. Got me fired up again. I was shooting easton Axis 400's , 4" feathers, and reflective automotive tape on them. 165gr Simmons Chuck Adams/now called Land Shark broadheads. The funny part of this video is the 2nd doe went started blowing and didn't quit for 30 mins...then she rolls back out there to get some of the same medicine her friend took. Thanks Steve! Brought back a great memory and day in the deer woods!
Rob shoots with a reflective wrap. Easy to find in the afternoons if you shoot with a light. Doesnt effect the weight much. Broadheads were Land sharks.
The second Doe came out 100 yards away, weaved back and forth across the field and came within 5 feet of the arrow from the first doe. Full video is neat to watch here smell her way back to the DEATH ZONE! Just watch how fast and small the lightining does are! Slow mo shots at the end to see them drop! Thanks

Haaaaa...LOL Rob is really a shaky person and needs the support!! LOL NAAA He likes it and it didnt seem to slow down the Mathews. When you are shooting Alabama Whitetails and drilling them as he did, you taking the fastest animals in the USA! Nothing compares to the Does of Alabama as for speed and wearyiness! <<< Is that a word! Naaa Rob is a great shot and glad to capture that day in the tree!
I think he shoot a drop away now though.

Maybe weary on its feet! That doe looked like it was about to fall flat on its face! It had a weird walking form.. As for the does, the ones in my part of Louisiana are ignorant. I laughed out loud at one of them when it gave me a weird face and it never budged. The bucks on the other hand will jolt away at a leaf hitting the ground.

40 yds on the First one she went about 10 yards in woods and laid down, her resting place, the other one went under a pushed up log as you see her tail white in the last frame that was her under the log! She ran about 60 yards.
Both were dead within 10-15 seconds...Thats a real deal kill.

@packoftwenty We actually made two RIGHT shots, waited for the perfect quick kill shots.. we could have shot the first in the shoulder so you could see her do sommersalts and BAAHHHHHHHH till she died 30 minutes later??? Broadhead through both lungs ...10 seconds and its over.

@packoftwenty I take it you don't eat any meat or fish of any kind?? We are omnivores, check those teeth in that filthy mouth of yours, if there are still any left.. are they flat like a cows?? nice job! i got a double earlier this season just north of Evergreen. it was awesome! hunted some oaks that were rainging accorns and gettin hammered. shot the first one and i hit her a lil too far back so she just walked off into the creek bottom. the other one stood around blowin and stompin for awhile. finally calmed down about 20mins later and THWACK!! smoke city!! congrats!

Thanks for the great comments. Steve posted the video and sent me the link. Got me fired up again. I was shooting easton Axis 400's , 4" feathers, and reflective automotive tape on them. 165gr Simmons Chuck Adams/now called Land Shark broadheads. The funny part of this video is the 2nd doe went started blowing and didn't quit for 30 mins...then she rolls back out there to get some of the same medicine her friend took. Thanks Steve! Brought back a great memory and day in the deer woods!

Rob shoots with a reflective wrap. Easy to find in the afternoons if you shoot with a light. Doesnt effect the weight much. Broadheads were Land sharks.
Death in 10 seconds usually on good shots!

Just for info...
The second Doe came out 100 yards away, weaved back and forth across the field and came within 5 feet of the arrow from the first doe. Full video is neat to watch here smell her way back to the DEATH ZONE! Just watch how fast and small the lightining does are! Slow mo shots at the end to see them drop! Thanks
