Just stay away from mainstream hip hop and you'll see this often.

Sure there was a bit of darkness, what with you mentioning a past breakup, but you didn't dwell on it. are you familiar with gavin castleton? i noticed you use ableton, and a few of your tracks have a vibe similar to the stuff he's into. if you haven't heard of him, check him out asap. he's amazing. the first song i heard by him was actually an amazing looping cover of 'sledgehammer' by peter gabriel.
@Rhythmsynonym There are probably some in 3/4 or 6/8 (pretty much the same thing but with a different feel), but 15/8? That's impressive. Give that man a medal. And the rap itself is astounding.
@robdrums69 don know why this got so many negative views, Its pretty true, or at least in most cases it is. Since most songs in odd time sigs have more technical instrumentals
