Jesse was always set on being a "famous" musician even though he couldn't write or sing. This performance is average at best. He always seemed like a non-musician who sought out allies that also we're infamous, but lousy. I used to watch his crummy band and I liked them, because of that fact. I can't see how he got as far as he has. Just sheer determination i guess. Weird how well he capitalized on being a NY whore.

Great songwriter. Sadly though, a thin, weak voice. His stuff with Heart Attack and D Generation was very good as well, but his voice then overcompensated in the other direction, something akin to pseudo-hardcore/punk but he couldn't pull that off either as his voice was too weak. He should just write songs for other people. But I have all of his stuff b/c I like his songs.

Jesse has guts and heart, the spirit of people like Joe Strummer...His lyrics are real, and unique...what he's 'goin on about' is a catharsis from the soul, you don't get it? Fine, go to starbucks or Virgin and buy something more obvious!
