Nice video! It's nice to see non-surgical interventions presented. As a massage therapist, I treat "carpal tunnel" all the time. I only need to work below the elbow in about 2-3% of cases. Most of the work I do is in the neck, shoulder and pectoral areas noted in this video. I have found Active Isolated Stretching to be particularly effective as part of the treatment process, and for client self-care to fully resolve the issue. None of my "carpal tunnel" clients have needed surgery.
hes boning her..trust me he has boned staff and patients and forget about former patients...if they ever investigated this guyh he'd be behind bars...a real con man
does anyone complain of numbness in three fingers; thumb fore and middle fingers? I have that in left hand and in right hand i had carpal tunnel surgery but now have trick finger thumb in that hand and alot of pain in middle part of forearm
thank you very much. i've had problems for over a year. tried everything. these excercises are new to me and i think they will ice the cake of my healing (hopefully).
Looking at the powerweb exercise near the end, this "exercised" the muscles used to make a grabbing motion, closing the hand. The alternative you gave, using elastic bands, worked the opposite muscles - the ones used to open the hand?
I've never known about the armpit area, having had pain for 6 months or more, a single thumb massage of that area has vastly improved my arm pain! Thanks for the info!
how many times a day you have to do this. Will I ever be able to use a computer as b4 and without feeling pain? How long usually does a person have to rest b4 going back to work? Ive been resting for a month my muscles feel like tired, over-used. I worked in a call center. Does the special orthopedic "gloves" help? Should I use any specific one? I want to avoid the operation. I have heard from some doctors and friends that the operation is not effective and you could lose sensitivity or movement?
I have carpal tunnel syndrome and I've never had a massage, it would most likely feel good. But the exercises with "the web" that the doctor demonstrated would without a doubt make my hands go numb temporarily. I have trouble believing healing could come out of it.

My hand is so bad I'm not even able to lift my fingers with the bands on. Does this mean that I need surgery anyway?
