Jay Garrick was the first flash he occupies a different dimension of earth known as Earth 2 and was introduced in 1940, the second flash is Barry Allen and occupies what is known as Earth 1 and was introduced in 1959, a police scientist who was struck by lightning and sacrificed his life saving the universe until they brought him back in rebirth, Wally west who was the Original kid flash and barry's nephew replaced him, bart allen is from the future and Barry allens grandson.

Regardless, you can't skimp on a rogue's gallery. A hero is only defined on the quality of the villains or obstacles he overcomes.

If the villains suck, the hero falters. And in this case, all the Flash could go on was name recognition.

well there are actually 4 diferent flashes withc they are all conected in a way, but if you want to know about them all go to dc data base, or just put that on google and the page should come up, and it gives you a complite breakdown on each of them and other dc suoerheroes, and the flash has more powers apart from super speed jeje

@haterofannoyances The original flash from the JSA(Justice Society of America) was Jay Garrick(the classic one with the helmet) Then Barry Allen(the on in the TV show) and his grandson Bart Allen (part of the Teen Titans) and Wally West who i dont really know anything about except for the fact that he has 2 kids

and these arent the only "speedsters" the story of flash is kinda like green lantern there is a power source behind it all and there are many of them(not all good and called the flash)

Man this show was great. I bought the DVD release as soon as it came out. Loved the gritty atmosphere, loved the costume, the characterization, one the best adaptations ever. Too bad it got canned after one season.
