Well...for example, English is not a difficult language to learn. Portuguese and Italian are not that hard if your 1st language is also romance..French is a bit harder but again, but the same thing applies. Chinese is said to be a lot easier than one would think but only the oral aspect of it...learning how to write it and read it is a lot more complicated. Hardest languages? It depends but I think it might be Hebrew or a language from eastern Europe (except for Romanian).
