A book of YOUR justice. What's justice? justice is relative, it is subjective. Did you ask yourself just one hour weither God exists or not, if he exists weither you God is the wright one or not...wake up my freind, wake up to humanity, to universal morales: hatred is EVIL even in the book you venerate.
Exactly and you should refrain from swearing like a trooper. It shows a lack of refinement and class. By the way Palestinians are treated as 2nd class citizens in the Middle East. In Lebanon they cannot become engineers, doctors or barbers. They cannot even get passports.
Well I was in Gaza and Israel years ago. in the last 11 years I have been in Syria 4 times,Lebanon, Egypt and Qatar once. I have been twice to Jordan and have just come back from my second trip to Libya. I suggest you research the other side.
one last comment: we had to fight (no other word for it) for our moment of silence. and we did it peacefully by joining hands making a strong circle. invited all those who had come in peace to take part. wish the countervigilants would have joined us but they weren't there out of respect nor to pay respects. they were there to agitate. somehow we found a way.
if there is a vigil for israeli children i'll tell you this: i won't wear red. ironic hey? the colour in all our veins the same
Maybe you should protest the PA calling children to "paradise" on Pal. Authority TV. Maybe u should publicly oppose systemic child abuse? It's great that people come out to remind you of real murder (like celebrated Arab , S. Kuntar who "heroically" smashed a little girl's head in after killing her father in front of her, or the murder of 8 month old Shelhavat Pass. This week Pals deliberatly killed a 13 year old with an ax & tried to kill a 7 year old. All the foregoing was celebrated by Pals!
Thought we had an understanding but no: the counter vigilants came wearing RED, carrying balloons (white and blue go figure) as if attending a birthday party. Nice hey? What you do not see if that we were laughed at (yes!) while we read the dead children's names.
Sure, many losses on both sides. Tragic indeed. But let's get serious and talk about good faith, intentions, working together. And at the end of the day here's the kicker: do the work and organize your own vigil OR get togher but
It is fair to read both lists; it's too bad the two groups didn't try to do this event together in the first place. It's always the little children and the helpless that get caught in the middle of these things. It's good that they have the moment of silence together. Makes me so sad that people can't be real with each other like this all the time.
I agree. Somehow the mutual humanity has to show. From what I see, Israelis never cheer/celebrate when innocent Pals. die. When it happens by accident, it is something aweful. But the Pals. often celebrate the death of Israeli children. Not only do they pass out sweets in celebration, there was actually a museum commemorating the Sbarro Pizza massacre replete with replicas of Jewish body parts. Last week when a Pal. attacked 2 children with an ax, Islamic Jihad proudly took credit for this
As one of the organizers of this event, I am compelled to reply to your last comment. Mothers Across the World for Gaza was held around the world to specifically mourn the loss/murder/deaths of the children in Gaza killed earlier this year in January and early February. It was not a rally, a march but a VIGIL. On the morning of our peaceful action I was alerted to a counter vigil. I spoke with the organizer to emphasize what we were doing. Thought we had an understanding.
When you hold a vigil for one side of the conflict (especially the side whose OWN POLLS say that 70% of Pals want to continue fighting even if there is no occupations and they have E. Jer. as their capital), then you raise questions as to motive and honesty.
You had a very public vigil and there is every right in the world for people to come by and challenge you and raise counter views. If you wanted a quite vigil were you can ignore the facts, then you can rent a private hall next time.
I suppose in one sense, that's the difference between us and them. Even ardent Zionists will mourn the deaths of children. Yet they send children on missions, have commercials asking children to "Martyr" themselves, and routinely celebrate when Israeli children die.
The pals. need new leadership that stops exploiting childen and that stops inculcating death cultism. I will never forget the Pal. commercial where a women sings "how sweet is the blood of a child martyr". Very cult-like.
Cult like indeed insofar as the extremists go, but i saw a lot of families crying in the footage of the bombings in gaza. There aren't that many differences- don't turn it into "us" and "them". Not every palestinian is a kamikazi zealot; there are normal families there too. I've never seen these routine celebrations or commercials, but i'll look them up. all in all wars turn people ugly and it's always the avg person who has to pay. =\
If you go to Palestinian Media Watch, they monitor Official PA controlled Pal. TV. It is very bizzarre. If you go into my favorites, I have a children's show with a squeeky voiced puppet tell kids how he is going to cause a massacre with a "AK-47". Often PA TV show mothers commanding their children to die and celebrating their deaths. They exemplify them as role models to follow. But you're right, there are always people who see through this propaganda & the humanity will come in.
It is the one thing that really changed my perspective of the Middle East conflict. The media tends to shy away from it, although there have been a couple good reports (a documentary by the BBC on Jihad camps & suicide schools for kids and one by Martin Fletcher of MSNBC on a PA commercial where a "dead" Mohammed Al-Dura calls children to follow him to "Paradise" (where they show an amusement park) as a lady sings "How sweet is the blood of a child martyr".
10 Israelis? You have to be kidding. Hamas ordered people into areas where weapons were being stored. Hamas likes killing some of its own people for propaganda purposes. Even the UN now admits that no school was targeted and Phosphorus was not used. The whole world is being duped.
dont try to dodge the point, fraud. You claimed that Israel didnt use white phosphorus. They admitted they did and now the web can see you for the shameless propagandist you truly are.
@phooey108 Well I read in a reputable newspaper that the UN admitted that there was no white phosphorus. Methinks the UN is not actually sure about the white phophorus.
Of course the people blown apart by suicide bombers and those who are walking around with shrapnel,in Israel, Jewish Arab,Circassion are not remembered at all.
People forgot, i think, because of the blockade, the broken UN conventions, the illegal colonies, and all the small children and unarmed civilians who were blown apart by the heavily armed israeli forces. go figure, it'll be a mystery forever how they could forget.
Children murdered for the advancement of religion and government. is disgusting and vile. The Isreal and US governments are murdering innecent men women and children in the Middle East. We must demand an end to support for Zionism and it's genocdal ambitions. US out of the MIDDLE EAST NOW!!!!!
The massacre in Gaza, planned six months in advance, Using weapons supplied by America, is not about Hamas or rockets but about Israel's recent elections and denying the right of a Palestinian state. Israel's own human rights organization, B'tselem, describes it as a crime against humanity. Was the outcome of the Israeli election worth the obscene carnage in Gaza? Please Google B'tselem the Israeli Information Centre for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories.
A declared state should have a sovereign government. What existed in the so-called Jewish state in 1948 were three Zionist terrorist organisations: the Irgun, the Hagana and the Stern gang. They could not be considered a government. They were criminals who violated the integrity of the state of Palestine and expelled hundreds of thousands of its indigenous people.
Notice any similarity with the policy of the present day bunch of Israeli leaders.
Funny no support for people who have suffered from a barrage of rockets and missiles with only 15 minutes warning to get to a shelter. Hamas are a terrorist organisation. I have a friend in Gaza and he told me they are basically criminals. They lost no time in killing Fatah rivals.
Funny how you don't know the names of the Israelis targeted, like 10 month old Shelhavit Pass, or 10 year old Coby Brock. Remember the Pals celebrating after these kids died...passing out sweets? The hecklers should have included only those who were killed during the recent offensive on Gaza. Coincidentally, in the last 7 years, less than 25 Israeli civilians were killed by rockets from Gaza, while more than 2200 Palestinian civilians were killed by Israeli forces.
I've just seen the video today Sat Mar 7, and as soon as tehy started to read the names I wondered if they were not fabricating them like they have done with so many things in the past.
I see the interruption by some members of the Jewish community here as highly disrespectful (no matter if some are well intentioned). If they wanted to organize a joint Palestinian-Israeli mourning, put out the invite and we would come to that. But you don't show up to one event, especially a vigil, uninvited, and make it some other kind of event. That's not respect. Their comments also indicate that the motivation of this gesture for many of them is about PR for Israel, "defending Israel."
When I heard that some members of the Jewish community were going to show up (besides, me, of course!), I contacted the organizer of the vigil to let her know and give her the phone number of the main contact. They spoke, and presumably worked out how things were going to go, but apparently there was a miscommunication over the nature of the event and the order of things. That does not excuse the interruptions - it was the wrong time and place.

If you're trying to legitimize the massacre of thousands of civilians by linking the ridiculous and vague "Global War on Terror" with the attack on Gaza, then you have no credibility to retain.
You can't label nationalist groups seeking freedom and independence from an occupying foreign power as "terrorists".
By the way the Jewish militias like Irgun and Lehi were classified as terrorist organizations by Britain and they weren't fighting for freedom, but instead occupy other people's land.
I added this Andrea Sands reference of "retribution" explaining why I made the comments I did during the "Last Word" of this video, Afghanistan children have been killed by Canada's 9/11 retribution, and O Connor's quote backs my comments up as 100% correct.
My Apologies Adam5518 for not better explaining myself, I can see the misunderstanding, I do wonder why Canada and US regard Hamas as a terrorist group even though they were democratically elected and the US and Israel helped create Hamas in the first place.
