nvm that last comment...I did it right this time...but I got done the final step...and no lots of stuff came up...and I did press X while turning it on...and also it says I am back to regular fw 6.39...what did I do wrong?

I am at the part where after you rename the 150.pbp to update...I am the make a magic memory stick part...and I selected the pandora battery option...this is what I get..."Magic Memory Stick Information" and then a bunch of names...it says to hit O to back out...and then it says, "Please ensure UPDATE.PBP exists at eh root of the memory stick. this must be a 1.50 UPDATE EBOOT...."

sooo what did I do...and I did put it in the root of the memory card as well where it says MP_ROOT

when i get to the final step i hold X and i press O when it says magic memory stick created and i take the battery out turn psp off and turn it back on hold X and it just loads regularly. My psp model is 3000 04g and 6.39 pro 8 HELP!!! thx in adv

i have problems when your start psp tool then i take create magic memory stick and when i do that i press the 1.50 updateflasher (original pandora) but then i get:

Your PSP has a costum theme set turn the theme off before running this program what shall i do?

Ver.1.50 is 01g(PSP-1000) only

I was having problems with the final step as well. What I did was when it asked me to pick a button I presses both the R and X buttons then when you power it up you press both buttons and it worked. Thanks great vid

im getting to the final step and im holding both the power and x buttons like you said but it's not showing the "lots of writing" that you said should happen, it's just shutting off. also when i go to check my system information after i've done all this it is back to its original 6.39.

Just keeps reverting back to version 6.39 getting annoyed now :( In the creation of magic memory stick it says magic memory stick cannot be installed, and then says not enough of something to make, and then cannot change battery to something but then still claims its been made at the end of it

I tried via memory card reader, and when you take memory card out n put back in it reverts back to version 6.39 from PRONIGHTLY or something

Guys i've had a great idea instead of this just working for 6.39 why dont you go into the 5.00m33 -6 folder and double click on the picture and copy whatever psp you have phat or slim copy into your picture folder and try To run ChickhenR2 or your orginal firmware and the just carry on from 2.12 shall i do a quick tutrol instead of just 6.39 everytime
