has anyone else looked at the possibility of Alpha being Echo's old boyfriend? i mean if they have the technology to mind wipes and stuff then they should have the tech to take car of a gun wound like that; and it would explain why she alone was left alive...idk.

Yea I don't want the show to go anywhere either... its depressing to think they would do "Awakening" this early. Such a good concept... I guess Joss is having trouble with funding this one. Sucks. Alpha could definitely be Echo's boyfriend.

The show didn't end, and it would have been silly to think it did with that ep since they had filmed several others months before; the episode in question, "Needs" has a nice twist or three though. That and ep 9 (Spy in the House of Love) are probably my favorites so far and definitely make up for the weak first episode... good thing I knew it would get better and stayed tuned in, or I woulda missed those!

I don't know if you heard that from an unreliable source, or if you're just fucking with us, but Tudyk won't be playing Alpha, or at least it hasn't been declared that he will.

He IS going to guest star on Dollhouse, but what the role will be has not, as of today, been revealed.

But it WOULD be very interesting to see Tudyk as an insane Active. I'd like to see if he could pull it off.

First: It's important to note that someone "looking dead" doesn't mean they couldn't have been revived. We do it all the time even with today's tech. Agree Leo isn't Alpha physically though since we know the actor. BUT.

We know they can rip and combine and burn personalities, so Leo could still be a mental component of Alpha. I'd wager that's the case and partly why he didn't kill her, but this is obviously just speculation. ;) Have to wait and see!

I think Paul will find out about the Dollhouse and will get involved with Echo, but my spec is that he will be 'recruited' (probably forceably) into the Dollhouse and his memories will be wiped. Then they think they have eliminated that threat, but then a bigger threat outside to the Dollhouse will emerge.

lol. yea at the beginning you see the woman talking to Echo (caroline) and it seems that Echo signs up for it. Even though she doesnt want to, it seems like a last resort type of thing. Echo probably did something bad, or caused some problems before and wants to get out of them. We'll see in episode 6 :) we learn more about Echo :)
