It's because of Muse that I got into the music industry and started a band. Now, I'm WAY ahead of my friends with well, really every aspect of music, period.

I had been playing piano for a while, but then I started learning Butterflies and Hurricanes and when I finished I was like WHOA! I can really do this shit

I then learned almost every Muse song there is on the piano, and have been in several bands over the years as singer, guitarist, keyboard/pianist, and drummer and I owe it all to Muse!

I dont think he considers him self an athesist, in most in interviews when gets serious he talks about very deep and spirtual things along with conspiracys, belief aliens and things of that matter. He looks for something deeper in everything, including faith, which is something i admire. :)
