@SAMKREATOR see where you went wrong was assuming that the only reason a person owns an american pit bull terrier is because they think they can beat any other dog in a fight. your whole premise was wrong rendering your comment and opinion meaningless. theyre great due to the combination of intelligence, will and determination, athletecism, the ability to please, etc etc that the APBT has. they are the complete package and thats what makes them great dogs. btw, you can like more than 1 breed

@popper504 u r right... i have seen akits win... but it is very rare.... on my moms soul. take a decent game pit that weighs 50.. put hims vs an awesme akita that weighs 85... 30 minutes in... the akita will be looking for the wall.. he will turn. he wont scratch..an thats if its a great akita.. akitas do bring it tho!!!!!!. but its for 12 to 27 miutes.. at a hard pace... i like akitas. ion some ways they better than pits.. fighting 1 on 1 dog on dog. aint 1 of them

@SAMKREATOR wrong.. but an akita would fight hard for 20 minutes. vs a gamebred pit, with good blood!!!!!!!!!. i like akitas.. ive seen a few die at the the pit.. they always brought it though, akitas do have pride, ill give them that.. but its not a fair fight, 20 miutes in .. on my moms soul. !!!!

@SAMKREATOR again.. akitas bring it..... again 20 to 35 minutes in they looking for the wall!!!!!!... alot of rotts, after 20 are looking for the wall, not trying to scratch.... personal pref is that.. but take a awesome akita at 80 pounds.. let him have a game bred pit.... at 65 pounds... on my moms soul.. 30 minutes it will turn violent, the akita will not scratch, he will turn!!!!!!!!
