I hate gold chrome on 99% of cars, one of them being the R8. I don't mind matte paint on R8's, but blehhh it looks so pimped out in this color. It's like it loses its exotic touch and turns into some Jap street racer.

Yes i agree. the golden chrome makes it look like a toy or something. It's a novelty or a just plain corny. The car doesn't need any help or hype. Just give it a classic solid color.  Like you would a muscle car. And the R8 will makes its own statement of attention
