About the Delay, I find that in A LOT of Xbox 360 versions with of games. I play PS3, and Blazblue 1 and 2 flow nicely on it with out delay, I played Blazblue 1 on the Xbox 360 over at a friends, and though they buttons where mapped out the same... I did feel a delay... Something I didn't feel on the PS3 version

Great review and can't argue with ur vedict, for i too love this and guilty. there's just one thing i thought u'd mention when you went to presntation/sound. i'm not sure if its just in continium shift or in both of them, but have u ever noticed every attack u do triggers that annoying

i got the platinum on this game and hell was some of the trophy/achivements hard on the next game i got like 4 perccent of the trophys is such a difference in skill in the two games

i saw this game at gamestop just the other day, well this one plus some super duper version thats the same game with a different sub name thing.

picked up Fallout 3 GOTY edition instead, might get this eventually though

There's actually a game of this on DSi shop channel. Sadly, there's only 5 characters, and there's about 4-5 battle rules. Also, there's no story, just a battle mode, BUT! Each character is pretty easy to play and the stages are FILLED with surprises. For instance, 1 stage, you hit a switch and half the stage is overcome with lava, but yeah. The game is just a small taste of this one.

that i was supriside aboute the game was that it was pixel art. No one has ever said that the animation is drawn with more of an old school arcade look and not hand drawn for ex: wario land shake it... Is there an option to change for more handrawn kind of look or is it only me who got suprised by that?

@RobbanFoxer The only things different I see in that game are the heavier outlines and more cartoony design. All in all BB has higher quality sprites.

@Yuriofwind dude when a game has Anime Cutscenes in its game you already know or should know that its an actual Anime

@FGAngelx That means nothing. A game having anime cutscenes doesn't mean it has an anime counterpart. After looking it up, blazblue does not. Guilty gear used anime cutscenes too, but last time I checked that also did not have an anime based on it. Lots of games do this as well, but don't spawn anime counterparts.

i have a question for those of you who have this game: should i buy this game or just wait until Continuum Shift comes out? because i don't wanna go straight into the sequel without knowing the story line or characters ability from the first one. so what should i get first?

@phatboi714 Hm, well this game is priced at about 20 dollars, and Continuum Shift is priced at 40 dollars, so if you really wanted too you could get both, because that would be about a full priced game, that's just my suggestion though xD.

Hey yuri gonna just say my bit here.

Continuim shift is like Calamity trigger 1.5.

Fixed stuff, add characters, and better story/other modes. BUT its really just an add-on

@Eureka7Nirvash I've been hearing stuff like that, kind of a shame, guess I'll wait on picking that up. Aside from the new characters, aren't there DLC characters as well? I remember seeing something that said that.

@Yuriofwind There are DLC characters. Makoto (Furry Galore) was released this week, as with others like Valkenhyn, and Platinum as well coming in. Continuum Shift story is about double the length of Calamity Trigger. It kind of depends on what you consider an add on. Just look at Guilty Gear XXX Accent Core Plus for the PSP.

Another excellent review by the Yuriofwind. This is such a magnificent fighting game and probably the best that came out last year despite the steep competition for the title. I've yet to master it's more intricate mechanics as well as play through with everyone...or even TOUCH story mode...<_<...but I must now that Continuum Shift will be out in about 2 weeks.  Oh, I heard a while back that Daisuke Ishiwatari (series creator) is currently working on Guilty Gear 3. But don't hold your breath.

I watched this review! Even though I don't have any intentions to ever buy it, since I suck majorly at fighting games, and therefor I hate them! But the review was awesome as always!

A little tip, try to turn on the transcribe audio thing at about 4:48 if you are in for a laugh, I laughed so therefor it is funny, and because of it you shall laugh as well :@

@gamers542 Yeah I see where you're coming from, street fighter is my preference as well, plus I kinda suck at this game. You can pick up this version of the game for like 20 dollars I think? The follow up to this coming out this month will be priced at 40, so if you wanted to give it a try you could buy the cheaper one I suppose.

Jin's japanese voice is also the voice of Simon from Tenge Toppa Gurren Lagann so instant win for the Japanese for TTGL fans. I never like using the simply way to do specals since I think it makes me limited to what I can really pull off like in Tatsunoko vs Capcom: UAS where my pal plays with a Wiimote+Nunchuck so he won't have to do proper motions. I'm so disappointed in him since he'll never beat me cause he's so limited with it. I need more fighting games, that Adrenaline you get.

Blazblue is killer. I really enjoyed it. It has a steep learning curve but well worth putting time into!
