I can't even remember how long i've been waiting for this, from the info that was released on the net they'll be starting with a movie as a recap of everything that's happened in the last few episodes (what we see here is probably from the upcoming movie) and then afterwards the long anticipated second season will begin. I'm really excited! berserk has been on the top of my favorite anime for years!
TBH i dont know if i want a remake of the Golden age, any new anime production of Berserk is 100% welcome but I feel like it would be alot more epic to release The Black Swordsman arc. Maybe its because im in the middle of rewatching it again that i dont want to see this arc replayed but still...
This is just a commercial that was made for volme 35 of the manga not a new anime series. But the idea of starting a new series is in the works to cover volumes 1 threw to the end pretty much they are waiting to finish the manga before making a new one
@kogiama I donno anymore read online tht the commercials were made for the release of the new manga's and not for a new series. But now i'm reading of news of a new series. But these commercials were made in 2010 and i still can't find anything or updates on a new series/anime movies...So i donno if anyone has some real news please update me but don't waste time with rumors
@elvampe13 Well, IDK since uh, the first Berserk Anime left out a TON of things mainly characters and then just ended. Hopefully this version stays true to the Manga, eh? Either way I'm excited to get MORE Berserk. Best Japanese fantasy Manga, TOPS!!!
@ParaSwarm Look at that preview CLOSELY and tell me that computer rendered monster Zodd isnt weird looking and/or doesnt move awkwardly. Oh and the soldiers that he's killing are ALSO 3D!
The CG doesnt look too great, just like the 3D model of Envy's true form from Brotherhood. This is a result of the animators being lazy and not wanting to animate him normally.
Hate to burst all the fans bubbles but there is no new anime coming yet, this is a promo for the new manga coming out, though this did bring a tear to my eye in hopes

Im hoping these clips which apear to be from the Golden age arc are just flashbacks to show new audiences why Guts Is so pissed off. After all some of the screen shots from 2 years ago show Puck and crazy Caska asuming its the same project
