Great job! I'm currently working on a ebay Sam for my daughter, she was in good shape, just needed a good cleaning, I tightened her limb elastics. Thankfully her wig was fine. I have re wigged a Springfield Collection doll with the same wig you used for your Samantha. I think the rubyredgalleria wig called *Wavy Brunette Bang Wig (sorry I can't post a link for some reason) would've been a better choice for Samantha.
