@marinescug I used the cameras intervalometer, the popular CHDK (last time I checked) does not work with this model powershot. I did see a new manual product recently NEXbag.bymac.org check out user bymacorg on youtube
@micbergsma Your t2i will look much better, I did this video to test my old canon G5 and see how it would work. I've done a few with my 7D and it's great, not as good as a 5D mark2 but dam good.
@Getawaymoments great, good to know.. I wanted to get 7D but more $, too big and heavy for my first dslr camera so T2i is a good start for me... I would want 5D someday if my best friend sell hers mark 2 for newer mark 3 when it comes out...
one thing I am trying to figure out which lens to get... 50mm 1.4 or something, not sure..
@micbergsma T2i is a great place to start, you probably don't need a 7D, FPS in stills and metal body? not necessary. If you want I good prime to start with, I have a 50 1.4 and also a 35 2.0, both are much cheaper then "L" glass but perform well. I'm waiting for the mark2 replacement .... standing by
@KevinxHD This was a time lapse made from thousands of still photos its not video. This was a test of one of my old cameras in time lapse mode. Basically you shoot thousands of stills using a intervalometer and edit them together to make a video clip.
Did you used the built in intervalometer limited to 100 shots , or a modified firmware ?

Nice job! Goes to show that it's the talent of the photographer and not always the newest and greatest technology.
